The Scala dei Turchi (Italian: "Stair of the Turks") is a rocky cliff on the coast of Realmonte, near Porto Empedocle, southern Sicily, Italy. It has become a tourist attraction due to its unusual white color, as well as by its mention in Andrea Camilleri's series of detective stories about Commissario Montalbano.

In general, the hotel was great, nice service and hosting, especially from the hotel manager. The rooms were okay for a short stay. Verified traveler

As every place else in Sicily, driving is a nightmare. Dangerous, stressful, and no actual rules of the road. Lots of people blaring horns. The beaches that are easily accessible are not very special.
