Basic accommodation. Breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing. (Maybe because it was low season? Other reviewers seemed to love it.) Just a 5-minute walk to the beach. Very family friendly. Nice pool area.

We rented 2 rooms at the property. The upsides were the staff was very friendly, there was breakfast, the beds were comfortable, the pool area was nice, and it was within walking distance of the beach and lots of food. The negatives were the cleanliness wasn't great. Breakfast tasted good but the eggs are undercooked and didn't make us feel well after. The hotel rooms are not maintained. One room had a toilet that kept running and an air conditioner thats flap was taped up, the other room had a water heater that didn't always work and a sink drain that was mostly clogged. All of the furniture was also very worn down. Overall because of the friendliness of the staff, free breakfast, price and location, i would stay there again. Those are just things that need to be improved

Great Service
My sister and I had a great stay at the Great Rayong Hotel. It is located close to a bicycle or scooter rental place if you want to get to Ban Phe ferry terminal. One of the front desk ladies has great English and was able to coordinate a minibus back to Bangkok to pick us up right near the hotel. 5 stars for her hospitality and help! I would come back here because of the location, price, and service.

Love that family room is two separate rooms connecting and the water bottle provided in each room was a plus. The old box analog TV could definitely be upgraded to cable like the other room though

The room is clean ,but toilet bad smell Extra bed quite simple , wifi ok quiet place also good parking . Reception quite friendly ,and breakfast is very good Taste . There is swimming pool too small but ok with resonable price with TV inside room

Multi-tasking Receptionist Chris was fantastic - so welcoming, friendly and helpful - as I witnessed when she helped others at check-in as well as myself. She even made me feel good about having to walk up 4 flights as there is no elevator ! Quite a girl !! A credit to her hotel .... but the hotel NEEDS better signage esp in the dark as neither the road or small turning sign is illuminated and taxis etc don’t know it, nor do many locals ...

Great bargain
Great hotel.Staff was very helpful and a free breakfast. The hotel has no elevator yet, but it was under construction during our stay. Nice and quiet location.

Great location and pool. Ok value for the cost.
Great location. Near beach and 7-eleven without the noise. The rooms are a bit outdated. Air-conditioning smelly and noisy in my room. Breakfast fixed set only plus Instant coffee and toast. Can overhear all that is going on in room next to yours. Hotel might not be suitable for families. Pool and area clean and nice.

Man får inget mer än det man betalar. AC:n lät som ett tröskverket. Poolen var grumlig. Frukosten var inget märkvärdigt men kaffet var okej, läget jättebra, så vi är nöjda, hade inte räknat med något bättre.

Sehr karg ausgestattet. Kein Tisch,kein Stuhl, kein Kleiderbügel. Die Dame an der Rezeption: super hilfsbereit, gut zu verstehen ,toll!! Sauber machen während des Aufenthaltes, putzen, Betten machen etc: oh nein. Aber: das Zimmer wurde sehr sauber vorgefunden. Lage und Preis sehr gut

Das Hotel liegt in einer Seitenstraße und ist Einfach , für den Preis gut und die Zimmer sauber ,Frühstück ( Buffet) ist annehmbar, der Pool ist klein aber okay zum Strand sind es 100 bis 150 m über die Uferstraße am Strand sind liegen und Tische das Essen ist etwas teuer aber ausgezeichnet

Overall good for the price
For the price it’s good. Nothing luxurious about it, but if we were looking for that, we would also need to pay at least triple the price. Good location with only a very short walk to the beach. Close to 7-11. The area is very quiet during the weekdays but a bit more lively with Thai tourists during the weekends.
