"this is not your average place to stay. Off the beaten track at the top of a very old village. Once booked in time to take a deep breath and enjoy the scenery and the house dog and cat. "very simple clean/modern. No staff present. all auto check in. Not sure if breakfast was included but was not really a breakfast. coffee machine and a pre packaged croissant/bun. Car park needs more work/tidying/lights for security . Chippings/stones are very unstable for motorcycles/bicycles. its basically just waste land next to hotel."

"Arrived here as a stop over on a longer journey and was pleasantly surprised with the county club feel to the hotel. It was lovely surroundings and the room was clean and comfortable. There is a bar and snack bar but no restaurant which was disappointing as we were told we’d have to drive into the next town to find food for the evening. Breakfast was a nice selection."
