"Overall a great location. This is the second time we’ve stayed at The Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa. I must say though, this time around their beds were extremely uncomfortable. My son told us the same thing about his bed. I considered calling and asking to be moved, but I liked the room we had with the view so we sucked it up. I’m really hoping the beds are comfier next time we go, especially because we stay for a few days. This time around I couldn’t wait to sleep on my bed, and that’s not common when we stay anywhere in Palm Springs. "

"Great food, service and ambience, dinner at Agave was delicious, my only complain during our stay would be that the sofa bed is horrible. My son woke me up at 2 am to help him close the sofa bed so he can sleep on the couch because it was so uncomfortable!!! Still our favorite local hotel, but next time we won’t book if they don’t have double beds available. "

"We had a room on the top floor facing the pool / lake area - it was beautiful! The spa was incredible, and the restaurants were amazing. Lots of shopping; and the aviary was my personal favorite, since I love parrots. The only 'oddity' was the room that had a sliding door which is typically a wall - to separate the room from the bathtub / bathroom area. The toilet was behind a door, so there was privacy; however, that sliding door that opened up the room directly to the bathtub - I thought that was a little 'different' - I'd not seen that before. Also, the sliding door didn't block any light from shining through between the cracks if you were to leave that sliding door closed. It's like the sliding door didn't actually 'fit'. Anyway, it just seemed ... strange, to me. Other than that - this resort is gorgeous and we had the BEST time."
