Actual guest room was ok. However, Very thin walls. People screaming and cursing in parking lot at 2am. I could easily hear roller wheels and conversations in hall outside room door T 4;30am. Don’t get much sleep.

Upon arriving at the hotel, my party was immediately concerned we were at the wrong location. The exterior photos from Google taken at night were able to conceal the slapdash black paint job on the outside of the building. Walking into the lobby, we noticed aggressive fragrances that seemed to be trying to conceal the natural scent of the building. Opening the door to the room, the unwelcoming appearance of the room halted our initial desire to settle in. As my party investigated the bathroom and bedding, noting the sad state of the room, I stood back opting to avoid touching the bed or setting my things down. Deciding to look at the wall instead of the room, I quickly noticed exposed cracks in the plaster that seemed like someone had recently attempted to cover them up with wallpaper. We quickly decided that it would be in the best interest of our health to drive 3+ hours home late at night instead of staying at this hotel. I have no clue why a national brand like Best Western would associate with a dilapidated establishment like the SureStay Plus at Durham Medical Center. We are requesting a refund.!!! The rooms didn’t look like ones on website . Floors hadn’t been swept or mopped . Sticky stuff on floors on side of bed . Hairs on toilet seat . Bathtub had rust rings in it unable to wash my toddler due to the rust . The bathroom had a sewage/sulfar smell when you flush the toilet. Ants were on top of ac unit on inside ! Highly dissatisfied!

The conditions of the room are absolutely terrible. I literally found a roach in my bed as soon as I walked in on the first night there were three roaches on the second night. There was roaches in my bathroom. I complained to the staff and I feel bad for the tenant because I know it’s not on him, but the room is disgusting. It is horrible to think that because you are trying to financially be savvy you have to pay with dirty and disgusting conditions. I am beyond disappointed and I will never stay there ever again no matter how decent the prices.

I had got very bad services the room i was in had a roach infestation bad to where it was in the bed they didn’t want to give me half of my refund back or anything the man had said they will refund for a night a new man came in and said they wouldn’t do it it’s took the man at least 20 mins to move me to a different room , the man at the front desk was so unprofessional and just seemed likes they wanted the money they don’t try to satisfy customers or do good communication, it took the man for me to go back to my room to call me back downstairs to only give me $20 yeah that’s better then nothing but thas not what i was told and it took for me to have a whole reasoning and for me to say it’s okay to call me back to the lobby for it for when i was told i will be refunded one night it was unprofessional

I went to breakfast when it was halfway over and the food n drink was almost gone except for bread for toast. The freshness of the milk n cereal was questionable. The room could have been cleaner. The location was good - easy on,/off to 85 and restaurants close by.

The property is definitely not as good as the photos show, though it carries the "Best Western" brand. Surroundings of the property are not representing good neighborhood. Overall, stay is minimally ok, so is the "full breakfast". Asked frontdesk for lotion, no.
