This is a stunning resort with good food and an excellent wine menu. The rooms are spacious and well renovated. The staff was very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. They even got us lunch when the restaurant wasn’t really open. They had a stuffed animal for my nephew and we were very pleased with our stay.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Pieve Aldina!!! The breakfast buffet was delightful, the staff were amazing, the property is absolutely beautiful. Be sure to rent a car so you can visit the nearby wineries. Don’t miss out of the opportunity to attend cooking school!!! Highly recommended….

Lovely hotel with excellent staff! The property itself is stunning, being able to lie by a pool amongst the olive trees overlooking wineries is 10/10! You couldn’t ask for a more relaxing place. The staff are lovely and go out of their way to assist. The breakfast spread and dinner are amazing. Highly reccomend!

The property is spectacular. A team of welcoming staff are there to greet you upon arrival and support your every need throughout your stay. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with olive groves, cedars, and gardens. We loved lying in the hammocks and listening to the chicalas. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious, our dinner at il rondini was equally delicious and the local musical entertainment was a great touch. We also enjoyed a spa treatment with local, natural products. Wine and olive oil tasting with Tomasso was excellent. We drove to a vineyard and brought home a bottle of Vin Santo as per his recommendation. We were lucky to meet the local stray cat named, Aldina! 8 minutes to both towns of Volpaia and Radda. We absolutely loved our stay. A true luxury five star accommodation.

Lovely hotel, beautiful interior design, fantastic food and service! We loved our 4 day stay. The property is well located in the Chianti region; lush deciduous forests, orchards, vineyards and a stream nearby. Beautiful old stone buildings have been carefully adapted to create a serene oasis to sit back and enjoy the views of the valley below. The staff gave us a warm welcome and took care of our every need. The restaurant is outstanding! Every dish had been carefully shaped to have delicious layers of flavor—home made everything, best food across the board of our trip. The interior design deserves special mention—muted colors pulled from the surrounding landscape, really an excellent lighting design with great contemporary sleek lighting fixture choices, comfortable furniture, beds and bedding…well placed art. Not cluttered, very welcoming and relaxing design. It all works to weave together a special place like nowhere else. Will be back again!

Honestly- this hotel is perfect in every way. Loved every minute of my one night stay. However the hilly unpaved gravel road coming from pool and my hotel room was a big hazard. There should be signs- caution. Possibly a handrail or making walking poles in rooms to provide stability. I understand that Chianti codes want the white gravel roads but more needs to be done to prevent falls and slip slides. I was being careful but still suffered a slide due to dlopemess- and bad surface scrape in bare legs. I am writing this to caution guests, but also staff have fallen too. Please take seriously. A much worse accident could happen. Take care!
