"We stayed here before starting our hike on the Camino de Santiago and it was right on the route, which is great as it minimized walking besides the hiking we were doing. It had a restaurant there, with others nearby. The accommodation was typical of the places we stayed during our hike. The staff was very helpful and friendly, which was nice since we arrived tired from an overnight flight and a train trip. It wasn't luxurious, but was a decent place to stay right in the old part of Sarria."

We didn’t realize that the restaurant is only open a few days a week, we were on foot and they helped us call out for pizza. "Great little hotel, reception check in was quick and efficient. very clean modern room, i was offered secure parking at 10 euros per day, but i choose free parking which was only a five minuets walk away. main street with lots of shopping bars and restaurants was just around the corner. overall a good place to stay in a nice town."

"this was a repeat visit after a 10 year gap. Little seems to have changed in that time. Although mainly a golf hotel, its a bit disappointing that the hotel doesn't try to cater for non golfers. For example there is plenty of room for tennis courts and a children's play area. Restaurant/bar staff always seemed too busy to provide the level of service you would expect for a 4* hotel"
