This was our least favorite hotel of the trip, but we got the room for a good price and it was only for one night. We wish the staff had told us about the second pool, we stumbled across it by wandering. It’s very walkable to the beach. We wish there was more wall plugs and definitely more pillows. The room was outdated but the water pressure was fantastic in the shower. No breakfast here.

Not a great value for the price. they only give you 1 small tower per person (no hand towel) there is no shampoo only one plastic cup for water. facilities are a bit abandoned

very close to Espadilla Beach and Manuel Antonio, and we saw iguanas and monkeys just outside the hotel, which made it fun and exciting for us. def not a fancy spot, but we enjoyed relaxing in the pool and the staff was very nice and helpful. great location and affordable cost for the area.

It was fine for a quick in/out stay, it was very old but clean, it actually felt like an abandoned hotel.. staff was nice when checked in.they gave us one towel for 2 people, weird…location was great for the beach.

Basic hotel, wouldn’t stay there more than one night. Beds sound a lot, smells like mold/humid. Nightshift staff was super friendly and let us in fast. I guess there is a reason why it was the cheapest available hotel for the night.

Basic hotel with good location
The hotel is very basic and the rooms could use an upgrade. However the location is really good. Very close to the beach (5 min walk) and very close to the entrance to Manuel Antonio Park (10 min). The rooms are cleaned daily and the staff is nice and friendly.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Large comfortable room close to beach. Nothing fancy just basic accommodations. Good hot water and pressure. Lots of monkeys outside hotel.

If you choose a room on the top floor there's a really nice view that make you forget that the place is a bit old but you can see that they are working on it! Location is really great, there are restaurants and convenient stores at walking distance but if you want more choices you will have to take the bus / taxi or a car for a 5-10 min drive which was done fine.

I was not able to check in until the exact check in time. I was told the room was being cleaned. The room was not very clean. I would not recommend this place to stay.

The proximity to the beach and Manual Antonio National Park were great. I did not realize that the restaurant was only open for breakfast, 7 to 9 am. The microwave was only available those hours as well. Complimentary coffee would have been appreciated. Lots of stairs and inclines, not for anyone with mobility challenges.

Decent place very affordable
Excellent location- you can walk to the beach in 5 minutes. Also very inexpensive. Only complaint is that the bathroom has an open window/vent that lets in a very funky smell from the back of the hotel. Seems like the vent was not far from trash bins or something.

The price is one of the cheapest we have found in Costa Rica & it is with in walking distance of the beach. The staff are all very friendly.

Affordable rustic hotel
Hotel location is fabulous, across the street from the beach and just a short walk to stores restaurants and the entrance to the national park. The hotel itself is a little worn down and could use a deep cleaning and some upgrades, but for the price it was a good value. The pools (there are 2) and grounds are quite pretty but it is located in a tropical paradise.

Great for location, but not the best hotel.
Pros: across the street from the beach, free parking and close to Manuel Antonio national park. Cons: outdated, not very clean, we had slugs on the walls and floor, shower head wasn't working properly, overall atmosphere of the room didn't feel welcoming, very noisy as its right off the main street.

Beach, short walk.
This hotel could use some upgrades. Door locks need to be improved, hard to open and close door. Would have been nice to have a large pot of coffee on in the morning in the lobby. Restaurant only open for breakfast 8 to 9. A couple clothes hangers but no where to hang clothes. The safe was a huge closet but hard to get in and out of, the lock again didn't work well. The pool was refreshing after a hot day, I feel it could be cleaned up a bit more than it was a bit murky.

Reasonable for the area
Hotel is clean but dated. Very reasonable price for the area. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Beautiful free beach 100 yards down the road. Air conditioning works well and you'll need it! Abundant wild life right at the hotel...sloths monkeys, iguanas. Close to good restaurant. Watch the sunset over the Pacific.

Nice and close to the National park and Beach
This hotel is across the street from the beach and only about a 10 minute walk from the National park. It looked a little run down in some parts and the rooms were fairly basic. Though they did come with air conditioning which was very nice on a hot day! It also has a tiny swimming pool that is open late. We went in this pool about twice a day as it was a nice way to cool off. This hotel was cheaper than some for the location so if you want to be in the area and don't want to pay as much it's good. Overall we had a pleasant experience at this hotel and were very glad for the air conditioning.

Ok Hotel very close to the beach
It was definitely nice to meet the staff since they are caring and very attentive. Nevertheless the pricing is definitely not worth it for the rooms quality, the pool is super small, the bathroom is old, same as beds and mattress. The EXCESS of noise every single morning can definitely get under your skin and prevent you from resting as desired. The visitors are mostly loud families with kids. Room service is slow and sloppy. The parking lot space is limited and on a steep hill which makes it difficult to find the right spot. The AC works fine, sheets are clean, distance from MA is spot-on. Staff is cool, The rest is pretty off, as mentioned above.
