We enjoyed watching the animals on the property. There’s a troop of howler monkeys that live in the trees there. There were also 3 deer y agouti.

Do not be discouraged by the road to Rancho Humo, what lies at the end turned out to be a real gem. This property is nestled up against the central wetlands of Nicoya peninsula on the shore of the Tempisque river and is a definitive location for birdwatchers from all over.
