「Very nice 」

「room was good, though very basic. Staff were helpful, di not inform us that restaurant not open for dinner even though the website says it is. good location, close to sea promenade, limestone formations very visible, even from the room.」

「when we first arrived at Halo Homestay - we were concerned because it was not in a very nice area. We didn't realise how big Halong Bay city is. we were expecting sleepy little fishing village!! NOT!! there are 2 distinct areas 1. locals 2. tourists. This homestay is in the locals area. Its not a pretty area by a long shot but our lovely host Hien made up for it by taking us on a tour to one of the most beautiful temples I have ever seen. she gave us a free tour of her hometown and we felt very...
