Huaqi Kaiserdom Hotel
The hotel is located in the main visitor district, lots bars and restaurants around. Noisy at night time, if you want to sleep early, choose a hotel away from this area.

KaiyueHostel
Really cute and “real” hotel with history and lovely service, even in English. Also quite central location in QD for lovely walks and pretty much everything.. Uphill and maybe without elevator (check), if you have walking problems

Mercure Qingdao Downtown
They do not allow foreigners to stay at this hotel chain any longer. They would not let me check in despite having made a reservation.

Huiquan Dynasty Hotel
It’s right cross street to the No. 1 beach. Located in the city and close to scenic tourist spots. The hotel is old. Better to book the sea view executive room which has a balcony. The revolving dining room on the top of the building is very nice and fantastic view. We went there for both breakfast ...
