  • Selina Hostels at Playa Venao The hostel is new and not finished yet, but it has a great design, is located directly at the beach and the staff is really cool. A con is that there is only one shop which has basically nothing and is really expensive; so you either have to bring your food or eat at the bar in the hostel. The beach itself is good for surfers, but you can also enjoy the waves without a board. There are only two (or maybe three; nobody knows) buses from Pedasí to Playa Venao: once in the morning (I think at 7) and once at 12 o'clock. It takes around 1.5 hours. Keep your eyes open and when you see the sign of the hostel, shout "(la) parada, por favor"

Amazing stay

The sea view was amazing and it had easy access to the beach. The breakfast was lovely. The hosts are very helpful. The restaurant evening meal was wonderful, we had fresh fish and shrimp. A good selection of drinks was also available. A short drive from Pedasi. We also saw a yellow caracara at breakfast as well as a black vulture.

Excellent hotel. My room was at waters edge. Well maintained and incredible view of the Pacific. Staff was incredible. They loved my dog and made breakfast for him. Will definitely come again

Hotel Posada Destiladeros is an undiscovered gem on the Azuela Peninsula! I enjoyed a rejuvenating 3 day stay in the Vietnam room, overlooking deserted Ocean beaches. A professional chef prepared meals with ingredients sourced locally - including fish and seafood. I watched the sunrise and sunset from my deck and walked on beaches during the day. Muy tranquilo.

Great access to a secluded beach & sunsets!

Stayed in the "Bobby". Very happy with staff and accommodations. Outdoor pool was a nice change of pace. Great walks on beach exploring. Included breakfast was wonderful on the patio in front of the restaurant. A bit of trouble getting into resort as it is gated and needed a pin code, but once we got in, friendly staff greeted us.

The view from our room was amazing, truly a million dollar view! Our host was extremely welcoming and friendly and the food from the restaurant was amazing. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back soon!

Beautiful property on a lovely private sandy beach. Most days there were only a couple of people on the beach. Glorious sunsets. The facilities were wonderful. Friendly professional services provided by Mayrubis.

Food and food service was excellent. Your place is a great place to escape the world. If you want more business you need to look for customers outside of Panama. Your place is like a small hotel association in Germany Romantik Hotels.

The hotel is on an outstanding beach. The first room they took us to, the one we had booked online via Expedia, was dark and a little creepy. We asked for another, and with a small upcharge stayed at a charming cottage right by the beach. Beautiful room with an unobstructed view. Breakfast the next morning was exceptional as well.

We are so disappointed at the uninspired greeting we received when we arrived. The entrance is not welcoming. When we figured out where the unattended front desk was we were less than greeted. I felt like we were putting the host out. That continued as he pointed to our room and pointed to the stairs to get to the beach. That lack of service continued at dinner when the service was depressing. We felt like we should leave and go to town instead of inconveniencing the poor grumpy guy but we had been driving all day. His personality shifted from drab to rude. We wanted a treat on vacation so we were going to order a cocktail and dessert. After waiting for over an hour we left without. This place could be such a gem. The beach is so close to the expansive grounds, which are wonderful, but the opportunity was missed by bad customer service. There is no place to sit comfortably to relax with a book. The sparse chairs are extremely uncomfortable. The simple process of putting out some comfortable chairs and/or hammocks could have changed the experience. Additionally, the pool was dirty. We will not come again, which is sad because it has so much potential. I can’t leave this bad review without adding that the breakfast staff was awesome. They were friendly and did an amazing job. The food at our first dinner was good too. It was sadly overshadowed by the bad service so we did not go back.

La Posada está ubicada en una propiedad simplemente hermosa, la construcción tiene un diseño de madera de lujo. Las cabañas están en medio de la selva y prácticamente desde cualquier esquina se puede ver el mar, y tiene acceso directo a la playa, una playa extensa perfecta para caminar o bañarse. El área de piscina es muy bonita. Pase dos noches en el paraíso, vimos pajaritos de colores de toda clase, aguiluchos y una iguana. Este lugar es perfecto si lo que buscas es paz, naturaleza y tranquilidad. El desayuno incluido es delicioso, incluso nos dieron agua de pipa cada mañana. El servicio al cliente el primer día de check in estuvo un poco lento, sin embargo se notaba que son un equipo pequeño al frente de la administración. Todos fueron siempre muy atentos y amables. ¡Gracias!! Regresaré.

Un hôtel authentique

Hôtel propre et authentique niché au cœur d’un jardin luxuriant.Les extérieurs au niveau du portail jusqu’à l’accueil mériteraient malgré tout un meilleur entretien. Le personnel est très accueillant et sympathique. Les plats servis au restaurant de l’hôtel sont simples mais bons et le petit déjeuner généreux avec des produits frais. La plage magnifique permet de longues ballades.
