En realidad no lleno mi expectativas, los restaurantes si estuvieron buenos pero las habitaciones no eran la gran cosa y encontré un insecto y llame para que fueran a matarlo y duraron mas de una hora en llegar. No tienen discoteca y tampoco mucha comida criolla.

The over all resort is nice and the staff are great. The food is mediocre and needs Improvement. The lazy river is excellent, just make sure you bring your own flotation device or get one from the gift shop.

Expedia advertised property as all inclusive, but you have to upgrade to a diamond member for all the restaurants to be available. We spent an hour waiting in line to check in, had an issue with one of our keys and had to wait in line another hour. We upgraded to a diamond member with butler service but was not worth the additional money. Not happy with Expedia.

Overpriced, the staff hardly speaks English, everyone wants a tip for every little thing, and you get tricked into a 90 minute timeshare speech. I thought I was getting a free cabana for a day because they switched rooms on us when we got there, but no, the free cabana was only if you went through the 90 minute timeshare speech. They try to get you at every turn. The food was average to bad, especially the buffet. We were supposed to get the Presidential One suite, but of course, it wasn’t available….even though we booked it 6 months in advance. Just terrible service. They make you wait and wait for a supervisor, just to tell you the same nonsense the regular staff tells you. It’s not worth the price or the headache going to the Royalton Bavaro. I do not recommend at all.

This property is an older property and does need some attention – but on the whole, we enjoyed our stay. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Estalin, our concierge, was amazing! He checked in on me multiple times a day and arranged our transportation and booked our dinner reservations for large groups . I cannot say enough about how his attention to us made our stay so much better! He even texted to check in on me on his days off! Carmelo , our Cabana staff was friendly and went beyond to accommodate our large group! Staff friendliness and customer service is excellent.

Room and room service/housekeeping was great! We had one horrible interation with a guest service person that was trying to sell us an upgrade to Diamond Club when we chose to not attend. Food was good, not great.

We had a fabulous time. My teens and I loved the property, the pool, the beach, the bars, and the entertainment. The shower head wasn’t working and there was a little mildew in the shower. Checking out wasn’t as smooth as I would have liked. But the staff otherwise were wonderful and the food was okay. We’d go back for sure. My son and I had fun at the casino and the nightly parties were a nice way to finish the day. Make sure you get your voucher and have them explain it. We weren’t able to use ours because we didn’t get it till the last day and nobody explained that it’s actually a discount, not a true voucher.

Amenities were awesome always something to do and entertainment was great loved the lazy river!!. Unfortunately, check in is slow, most staff was not very friendly. Could not understand you and you were pretty much ignored unless you were tipping a substantial amount of money. The restaurants were pretty much slow and disgusting, physically got ill from the steakhouse, except for Rio, the Brazilian restaurant, which is tiptop amazing! if you are looking to get US cash currency good luck as it’s hard to come by at the resort. The casino is more like an arcade. It was laughable and definitely should not be used as a marketing tool for this resort. For the most part clean, but the structure is older, and half the lights kept going out in n our room we had to keep resetting the circuit breaker and banging on the AC fan as it continued to make noise, and the water spout for the shower had barely any pressure and hardly worked and! beds were not the softest in the world! I was hoping it would just be the resort, but we got the same kind of service off the resort too during excursions. I never review and I’m not the one to complain , but I have to say we will not be going back to the DR, although we made the best of it.!

Gary at the pool bar and martini bar is the reason we came back! He made the trip excellent because he cared about making sure we taken care of. The room was okay, took 3 times telling someone to clean up did blood on the wall. Food was good. This was our second time at this resort and will be back.

Pros: The staff was nice and courteous for the most part and the view was beautiful. Cons: There were several issues at this particular resort first one being I booked 2 rooms which for whatever reason were not put side by side (which wasn’t the greatest issue just more of an inconvenience). Second, one of the rooms was not entirely clean upon arrival even though they allowed us to check in normal. There were tampons and other trash in the bathroom trashcan, stains on the furniture, floor and linens (in both rooms). When we called about these issue’s we got the run around an ultimately no actual solution. I was told we would get birthday banner, fruit, and complementary bottle of wine to each room from day one and it was not received until the last day after bringing it up several times throughout the stay. In one of the rooms we had to call room service just about every day to get our room cleaned, they gave us wash clothes (once upon request as there were not in there upon check in) and they never gave us any after that. We had a swim pool, but no towels for it, so we had to call for that several times and only got them when we asked house keeping that we seen in the hall for some. It just seems like our rooms weren’t tended to as much as they should’ve been. I’ve been to less expensive resorts and had better housekeeping and customer service when it came to issues. The room came with a jet tub, which upon attempt to use it was leaking all over the floor in the room.

The room had broken curtains, a shower that dripped, and room temperature that could not go below 24C or 75F. Too hot to sleep. Would only give 4 drinks per day in the mini bar. Staff were friendly and more than willing to help when asked.

Room was clean. Air-conditioning was reported by me several times and I was given promise of repairs but it never happened. Un comfortable sleeping. Saying that we enjoyed the swim out pool. Maid service and beverage supplies were excellent. Room service was the best food and service we have every had at an All-inclusive. We really enjoyed our stay overall. Our Butler Jorge did a super great job making our reservation stress-free. Thank you
