The resort is newly renovated and you can tell. The grounds, the buildings, the rooms are all beautiful and incredibly clean. The grounds in the middle with the wildlife were beautiful at night lit up with little lanterns, a quick walk between the rooms and the lobby/restaurants. There are trolleys for those that prefer. The beach is gorgeous, beautiful soft white sand. Turquoise water. The waves can be big and quite rough, with strong undertow. It was like this every day, it’s fun to play in but it’s not for those that are not strong swimmers. Towel wars are also in full swing here, if you want a prime spot you best get up early to reserve it. We opted for the VIP, you pay extra when you check in. It included better beach access, more restaurants, some extra amenities. We enjoyed it for the comfier beach loungers, not having to fight for a spot at the beach & the beach side restaurant. But the long list of added VIP amenities we didn’t really see, we wouldn’t have enjoyed our vacation as much without it, but it’s expensive for what it is. The reviews on the food were mixed we knew that coming here, and they were true. The food wasn’t our taste. Buffet was not great, very small for the size of the resort and very chaotic. WiFi is free but very spotty. Overall we really enjoyed our vacation, the staff were friendly, the resort was beautiful, the beach was amazing. If the food had been better we would definitely return.

The resort was beautiful, and the staff was very helpful. My room smelled extremely musty and my toilet did not work the entire time I was there. It would only flush like every fourth time. The manager was very kind and told me I could message him back-and-forth on the WhatsApp with any further issues. However, when staff has to come 2 to 3 times and the toilet still not fixed I am pretty much done having to text a manager about a toilet as I am there to enjoy myself, not have to continually bring up issues. The housekeeper would not give me towels or toilet paper or anything that I had needed as she was standing right in front of her cart telling me that she would come to my room in a little bit I waited an hour she never came. she told the manager that I had a do not disturb sign on my door, which yes I did, but I told her I would be in there waiting for her. I think that the language barrier was the issue with that. I typically do not get bit by mosquitoes very often in my legs and everywhere honestly on my body is completely bit up because they were constant mosquitoes getting in my room. The price for the amenities was extremely good however, I will not return as you get what you pay for. I stayed 15 nights there and I am at another amazing all-inclusive resort for another five. I would definitely come back here and wished my 15 nights would have been here.

Beautiful resort! Food was horrible. My husband and I got sick. I would ask for just hot water and they gave me brown hot water a couple of times. Buffet style food was limited in options and flies were all on the food. Not many options for food especially if you have dietary restrictions. Pool and beach was nice. Bring your own washcloth as they don’t really provide those. But I don’t recommend

Within three hours of being on property, my wallet was stolen by suspected team member. The staff seemed to disregard it and not care completely. The front desk nightmare of a night man, told me I just lost it and gave me the runaround for two hours as hetold me that the property Manager and security manager were coming. Just to find out from the manager (customer service manager, only decent one. I spoke to) a very nice lady in the morning that he was in fact the night manager. After finding that out and looking back, It felt like an inside job for sure. No team member nor security took it seriously and refused to try to help me get to the police or for file a report on property for days. Me telling them it had been stolen wasn’t enough. It wasn’t until they were already trying to use my cards, did they appropriate offer any assistance to get to the police. Still no on property incident report. During this at no point did I feel really safe on this property or secure. You’ve been warned Do Not book.

Had a great time. All but 1 staff member was phenomenal! Food was way better than expected. Definitely book reservations for restaurants as soon as possible. El Nopal was delicious. Foam pool party was such a good time! Wellington at the swim up bar was on point every single time. Schokosky at the Sports Bar!!! Amazing energy, great service. Can't wait to come back! Bring extra sunscreen! The shop prices are stupidly ridiculous!!!!!!!!!

On the positive side, the beach was beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The pools were also a good size with a decent depth, making it enjoyable to spend time there. Overall, the setting itself is lovely. However, the service and attention to detail fell short. We stayed for 9 days as two guests, and throughout the entire stay, we were only given three towels per day, which is essentially one full set for one person. This was quite inconvenient. I had to go and request additional items like slippers, which should already be provided in the room. Even after asking for extra towels, they were never delivered. Communication was also challenging, as the majority of the staff did not speak English. We often had to rely on translation tools just to get basic requests across, which made the experience more difficult than it should have been. Cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities could also be improved. The pool and jacuzzi frequently had debris in them, and there didn’t seem to be regular cleaning (such as someone skimming the pool), which affected the overall experience. The food was average, but unfortunately both my mother and I experienced food poisoning during our stay. Additionally, only tap water was offered with meals rather than bottled water, which was disappointing. Overall, while the location and beach are strong positives, the service, cleanliness, and attention to guest comfort need significant improvement.

The staff is excellent! Everyone from the wait staff at the restaurants to the housekeepers are so caring. Our room was taken care of daily and was clean. The pool was my favorite part! The swim up bar and activity staff were fantastic.

In general its an okay place for a low budget family or couple, the reception was friendly and efficient, transportation and baggage handeling too the room was excellent, I did t touch my bags until I was in the room. The room was a whole different story, first I noticed the air conditioning felt moist, it wasnt good cooling unit, there was black mold in the A/C vent directly above the bed and never really cooled the room well. Tje room was very clean but the bed covering always felt wet or damp from the A/C. The room cleaning staff was awesome!!! They did a wonderful job but you may need to ask for fresh towels on occasion. They had no transportation from or too tje airport so expect an expensive taxi ride both ways. Now to the buffet..... it will sustain life, its decent for the price but not the best food compared to many other resorts Ive been too, of course they all cost more than this resort. Do not drink tje water!!! The resort stocks your room with plenty of bottled water!! The bars on the resort are decent although the bar tenders work on "Island time" so they dont hurry up for anyone regardless of tips. Over all I would say this is a good resort for familys on a budget and couples who are on a budget, its definetly not for singles unless you want to be lonely. There was absolutely no drama, loud noise or crazy party people anywhere on the resort, it was very peaceful and calm.

Stayed at this hotel to celebrate my daughter's sweet 16. We had a wonderful time. Clean rooms, excellent staff and very family-friendly. The only bad thing I had to say was the wifi sucks, even though I paid for wifi while I was there.

We had flight delays and after two days in airports we weren’t going to be able to get a flight to DR until the day before the end of our vacation. We contacted Caribe through Expedia and they refused tontive us a refund even when this was way out of our control.
