We had a great time at this resort! Staff was super friendly and helpful, and the overall vibes of this resort met our standards. We are considering to visit again and stay at the Ambar resort because we liked their extra amenities but Aquamarine was more than we expected. We highly recommend it 10/10

The first room we were put in was run down. They changed us to a different room which was better but the refrigerator didn't work and the half the lights did not work. Overall the staff was extremely nice but I wish they knew a little bit more English. Maybe provide them with a basic English course to understand common inquiries. Also the Reilly service was all over the place. Half the time they would pass you up or tell you to go somewhere else to catch a different one. They should run on a schedule because you have no idea how long until the next one comes. The pool needs better music and it ducks or closes at 6 because most people get sun burnt being out in the middle of the day. Overall it was a great stay and I would book again I just think there is a bit of room for improvement.

The rooms are a dated and missing the small touches like robes and slippers. The amenities are good, selection of restaurants very good but the desserts are terrible generally. The staff are friendly. Selection of entertainment is ok.

The buffet was excellent every single time. The staff was great and very tentative in most cases. Making reservations for the Restaurants wasn't the best experience as everything was booked and in order to try other restaurants you have to go over to the property next door which means, it's no longer adults only. The Spa was great. Overall, not bad but not great either.

The resort is beautiful, well maintained and spotless. Spectacular beach. The food and the service in the à la carte restaurants we went to was excellent. My only criticism is that when you arrive there is no information given about the free activities that are advertised, such as snorkelling. The first time I inquired, the person I asked, didn’t know anything about it. The second time I asked at guest services and we were told to go down the beach and we would find it. We went to the location and were told we had to pay $70 US each. Maybe wrong location? I don’t know. The other issue you need to be aware of is that if you have requested two beds, they can’t guarantee it. We had to wait three days before we could have a room with two beds. Otherwise it was a wonderful vacation.

The all inclusive feature regarding food and beverages was excellent! The staff kept the room and grounds clean. The good rating on the room is because the bed was hard making it difficult to sleep comfortably. We constantly had to ask for washcloths and was told "later" later was always in an excess of 3 hours time or not at all. One very annoying occurrence was staff members in the lobby continuously asking us to sign up for a "rewards tour" which really was a 90 minute timeshare presented as a way to obtain an amenity.
