"Amazing experience from beginning to end. Very quick and helpful comms with host, flawless check in, stayed in the modern version which was perfect for us, felt very luxurious. Dining table, sofa area, kitchen, separate shower room and separate bedroom and wardrobe. Roof deck with loungers, chairs and tables perfect for sunset. Breakfast hamper was incredible much better than expected and there is room service and bar doing pizzas etc at the end of the pier on site. Awesome 2 nights and the highlight of our trip and perfect for walking into Gibraltar. Thank you Maria and team you are all fantastic 😁"

"Disappointing breakfast. Big selection but low quality. Rooms were clean but bed a bit uncomfortable for my liking. Thin walls meant we could hear snoring next door and cars on road. "

"Room was spacious, with a nice terrace and view. Beds were very comfortable and towels, etc. were of good quality. Staff was outstanding. Location also very good. The facilities can go to be updated. We were also there out of season so some things like the pool were not available. We really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it highly."

"We had a brief stay at Hotel Mir Octavio and it was perfect for us. Our ferry unluckily arrived hours late so we had very little time to explore Algeciras. Check in was a breeze. We got an excellent night’s sleep - the room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The location of the hotel was great - we ventured out into the city for some breakfast before our 11am bus. We easily walked into town and visited the square, the old city wall, and a market. There were numerous cafes open and offering breakfast items. The bus station is next to the hotel so we easily hopped on our bus on time. I highly recommend this hotel for the location, the price, and the comfort. "

"1.how does this hotel be rated as 4*? Everything is so rundown and dusty 2. Zero towels in my Presidential Room. I had to ask for them. 3. No Kleenex in room 4. The towels delivered to my room all smelled like cigarette smoke 5. Pebbles in the shower room flower has some missing pebbles 6. Floor is so worn out 7. No bellboy to help with luggage 8.I was told at check-in that buffet breakfast would be served until 11am. When I got there at 10:40am but was refused service. "
