Yes the room was very clean and spacious, met all of our needs. Since location was in town, easy to find, near restaurants and shops for our convenience. Being affordable also was a plus since we were coming to visit with extended family following a death in the family.
Very dated motel decor needing upgrades. Bed linens were clean, however coffee pot had slimy water in it! Totally grossing me out!

Overall it was a nice stay. The bathroom was alittle dirty but nothing that i cpuld not clean up. Also a towel was stained but i just used one of the others. No big deal. This is the 2nd time i have stayed here on our way to Franklin Tennessee. Check in was easy and fast. I always love talking with the cgeck in clerk. She is so sweet. And she remembered us from a few years ago.

Should’ve searched a little further!
It’s OK if there’s no other choice. I should have stayed across the street. I’ve stayed at the Richland Inn before and it’s very clean. Very sanitary. The Villa Inn is pretty rundown. Paint been slapped on top of chipping paint more than once and there’s no updates been done to the building in quite some time. The first thing we saw as I entered our room was a brown recluse spider crawling up the wall in the bathroom. I immediately killed it. The pest control guy was there spraying the buildings and I asked him were there problem with bedbugs, roaches, etc. He said there wasn’t. We did not see roaches, bedbugs, or the sort. But, we did see that brown recluse.. The first thing you see when you approach the building is boxes piled in the windows, and the lobby is closed because of filthiness. It literally looks like a hoarder lives in the lobby. Bad first impression!!
I came to Tennessee to visit with my Grandmother while she was in the Hospital. Unfortunately we lost her the day after I got there. The hotel was very nice and refunded the extra night I had for at chk in.
Manager made me stand outside in the heat to register. The lobby is a disgusting mess.
Maybe someone that spoke English could do a better job.
Otherwise, the hotel should close.
