"We stayed 2 nights. Great location to Mount Cook area (30 minute drive) the Lodge was clean, comfortable and include a wonderful dinner and a full breakfast. The staff was warm and welcoming. "

"Oh my goodness! This was the most amazing little place. The floors were heated. The room was very modern. It had a Nespresso machine. The kitchen was super well stocked. The bathroom had everything you would want and the products smelled amazing! I wish we weee staying in that hotel our entire visit to NZ! Loved it. Sadly we simply stopped there for a night from Lake Tekapo toward Wanaka after hiking around Mount Cook. Fabulous stay. Thank you."

"This is probably a very nice hotel under normal circumstances, but they are currently (July/August 2026) under renovation. The construction work and noise aren’t great, and you have to walk through a long, cold under-construction corridor to get to the lobby and restaurant. I’m sure the restaurant is normally very good, but with so few guests, the food was meh. We had both dinner (lamb was good, salmon was way overcooked) and breakfast (waffles were good, eggs Benedict were overcooked). I would...
