Thank you for having us. Everything was perfect Jennifer assisted us when we arrived she was amazing, very helpful extremely nice made sure our room was prepared for us and some changes that needed to be made she was able to help us with that, she also made sure we got dinner reservations at Rodizo a restaurant I had been wanting to go to, she was so kind to send a Birthday wine bottle to our room for me as I was celebrating my birthday everything was perfect it has been a while since I last visited thank you very much …see you next time will recommend

Room itself was very nice but in order to take a hot shower you needed to let it run for a minimum of a half an hour, no exaggeration, and then the drain doesn’t work properly so you have water all over the floor outside of the shower. The TV went out from today to Monday due to a storm it continued to rain over the weekend, which the resort cannot help, but you had nothing to do but sit and watch static. The only thing that saved the trip is the staff quite honestly they are all so welcoming, nice, courteous and just good people overall. The resort doesn’t keep up on things and the place has gone downhill since our first visit in 2017, Confresi looks like a hurricane just washed up on the beach with pipes showing through the sand bottom of steps eroded away it is horrible what this resort is turning into. The place is more concerned about getting you to buy into the scam of a vacation club rather than up keeping what they have already.

We stayed at Lifestyle Holidays Resort in Tropical Building 5, and as always, it was clean, practical, and so much fun. The food was excellent—Casablanca never disappoints, and the steak at Blue Lagoon was absolutely perfect. My favorite thing about this resort is the staff. They truly make the experience unforgettable. Danny and Rachelle at the VIP beach bar are wonderful and always welcoming. The chef at Zen is incredibly talented. We lounged on the beach beds most days during our two-week stay, and Estalin at the pool knew exactly which bed I liked—he had it ready as soon as he saw us every day. At Casablanca, Jackie and Oscar were amazing. They remembered what we drank every morning and night, which made us feel so cared for. Carlos from the spa gave us a great deal, and we enjoyed the steam room daily along with fantastic massages. We did water aerobics every day and joined in fun games with Black Panther, Brown Sugar, and Bongino—always a great time. Everyone truly made us feel like family, and we can’t wait to return. A special shout-out to Churros, the Mexican restaurant just outside the resort—amazing food and staff as well. Lifestyle really pampers you and makes you feel at home.

The staff was courteous and friendly. Concierge Yennifer Perez was extremely helpful in addressing my concerns and assuring comfort. The beachfront amenities were excellent and beach was stupendous. Thanksgiving festivities were amazing. I was placed in a room that was very dilapidated. Dressers handles were rotted and fell off when pulled. Bathroom was outdated and uninviting. Towels were extremely shabby and dingy. Alternate room was slightly better but dresser was also broken. Towels were also very worn. Friday and Saturday were very noisy. Dance music played during breakfast was very loud. More subdued music is recommended. Ice cream was only available to members at Scoop the ice cream parlor. They should have ice cream available for all regardless of membership status. I would not return to this hotel because of the outdated and dilapidated rooms.

2 star room on a 4 star resort - Just returned from a 5 day, 4 night stay at the Lifestyle Tropical resort in Puerto Plata, DR. Lots to say, starting w/ the positives: 1. The resort itself, especially the beach area, is beautiful & well taken care of 2. Staff is super friendly & helpful 3. The spa experience was excellent Areas that need significant improvement: 1. The toilet was broken and needed to be plunged by maintenance staff every day 2. The shower water was lukewarm at best every day 3. The towels in the room were old and poor quality 4. The sliding door to the patio didn't close all the way, it let in bugs even when locked 5. Metal pieces of furnishings (e.g., closet door handles) were very rusty 6. Wood furnishings (e.g., desk) were badly scuffed and in poor condition 7. Some days the "new" sheets placed on the bed had stains 8. The room had a mildewy odor With respect to the toilet, after complaining that it did not flush and got stuffed, we were told not to flush toilet paper, that no one in the DR does this. That is false, everyone flushes toilet paper. But we even tried this anyway and the toilet still got stuffed. Clearly it was broken. We were also charged an additional $265 because our son, who stayed with me & my wife in our room, was 15 years old and therefore an adult. Firstly - I was not prompted when booking to enter his age. Secondly - 15 years of age is not an adult. We asked repeatedly for refunds due to all the above and were denied.

You’re able to utilize the areas and amenities of other resorts via shuttle or walking. The bed was great! The room furniture was outdated. The tv did not work. And the bathroom area had no door. Very disappointing.

The property is very big. You have to take a shuttle everywhere. The food was amazing and the staff were very nice. The rooms amenitys didnt work very well. The toilet dont flush. The ac is my room didnt work good at all.

I booked this resort for my parents, hoping they would enjoy a relaxing and comfortable vacation. Unfortunately, their experience was far from what we expected. The first bedroom given was dirty and had a bad smell. When we requested a change, the second room had a very similar problem. It took two changes to finally get them into a somewhat acceptable room, which was frustrating and stressful. The buffet served the same food every day with little to no variety. This quickly became repetitive and disappointing. The staff was attentive and kind, but overall impression left they very unsatisfied.

The kids like the water. 2:15 to check in. No organization people jumping haed of other. Chev Check in 2:30 was told room was not ready went back at 4: 30 was told one was one was not. Back at 5:30 no one at the frontdesk would help. Went to security he got a bell boy who got my key. 2 times i asked for manager was denied.
