First time Villa renter

Villa was amazing extremely clean, friendly owner, friendly staff ,security up the wazoo.. made you feel super safe. property was amazing so much so that I look into getting a condo there. definitely will have a return visit but more of a relaxation visit this time. Where I can enjoy the property and the grounds more

Wish I could leave a review of the Villa separate from Ocean Village as a whole. The villa we stayed in was clean & had everything we needed. The owner was gracious enough to stop by, introduce himself and ask if we needed anything. I would give his Villa 5 stars. But the property as a whole, Ocean Village, was awful. We were there for a wedding. The guards gave us a hard time every time we left the property and wanted to return. Why they don't have parking passes or something like it, so the guards know you belong there, is crazy! We were not allowed (yes, you read that right, not allowed, to visit our friends in the next complex. We were told "This is not a hotel. We can't have anyone coming and going". It did not matter, we were all friends & family, staying there for the same reason. Then, the wedding was almost a disaster! The staff is unprepared and untrained. The wedding started 4 hours late. Yes, FOUR HOURS LATE! So many things to complain about: they lied to us about the tip being included on our bill at the restaurant, they did not tell the bride & groom the refrigerator was broken at the location where the open bar was supposed to be, the DJ was late (even though the wedding was supposed to start 4 hours before), guests had to move furniture & clean where the ceremony was supposed to be, etc. I could go on, but why?! DON'T STAY HERE!

Nice villa

Flexible and friendly owner. Safe and peaceful area. Spacious villa with comfortable king size beds. Kitchen was well equipped. Large terrace where you can eat and spend time. Pool was big plus! Wi-Fi was slow but enough for us. Three TVs with Netflix. Bottled water included. Outside villa, in Sosua Ocean Village area, everything costs.... big pools, gym. Playa Laguna is quite near but wawes are big. It`s nyt easy to swim there. You can buy food from SuperMercado Los Robles (about 1 km from villa). We enjoyed our time in this villa!

Not your typical vacation...

It was a nice place, not resort-ish at all, which we like, more of a homey feel. Waterpark was a big hit with my kids, worth the extra money per day. Staff was super friendly. Would def recommend!
