I arrived a little late, around dusk. I entered, and walked around the buildings, but there was no signage to direct me to an office or anything. No attempt had been made to contact me through Whatsapp or anything like my other accommodations had. Luckily a man appeared from outside the property and led me to my room. The room itself was simple as I expected, which would be fine, but there were some notable flaws that I really didn't like. First of all, the shower was okay. It actually had hot water unlike most of the places I stayed in Mexico, but the silicone shower head had a huge leak, so most of the water hit the wall instead of me. The air conditioner was jerry-rigged with a timer, so it could only be operated for a maximum of 4 hours, and also, it was locked onto a high temperature to save them money, but not to make me comfortable while I slept. And while I slept, the air conditioner was busy dripping water on the table below it where I had my cash and my new passport, so both were soaked when I woke up in a pool of sweat since the air conditioner had shut off. Also, there was a pull-down blind that was broken, so I had to hold it down using a lamp weighted with a bottle of water to have privacy in my room. My assessment is that the owners are so cheap that they make their customers uncomfortable to make a little more profit, which I think is unwise. I cannot recommend this accommodation as a result unless the owners change their mindset and fix the problems.

We really liked the staff and the friendly atmosphere and all the extra work the staff went to to make our stay wonderful. Having free bicycles available made getting to the beach a breeze. However, there are feral cats that you can not approach that fight and spray urine on your door or articles left in the office. It’s a small thing to overlook in an otherwise wonderful place. Thank you again

Puerto Condo
The location was within a new gated, safe community. Taxi to town square where touristy restaurants & shops and bars are in the evening. Daytime bike ride of 6-7km to and from is good if your active. The condo is awesome very well equipped in the kitchen to enjoy home meals, snacks and refreshments. Guests be aware of the currency being requested.

Buenas Dias is a hidden gem. Throw out your Canadian or American ideas of what a neighbourhood or b&b should look like, and you will enjoy everything this “mom & pop” operation has to offer. The neighbourhood is safe, the people friendly, and the food nearby excellent. Allow yourself to experience a more genuine Mexico with these excellent Spanish/English speaking hosts who go out of their way to make you welcome. Very comfortable, clean accommodations, great included breakfast.

I liked the colors, the decoration, the beds were comfortable, the owners are nice and their maid, Marly will do her best to help you in case of problems. What we didn't like was the fact that we had No HOT WATER at all during our 3 days and nights, and having a 22 mi ths old baby with this issue wasn't very pleasing.. Also we had 2 water infiltrations during our 1st night, 1 on my luggage and the other on on my bed, the pillow and bed was soakes. But they fixed the problem on the next day. Also for some reason there is an image of a pool in the pictures of the property but there was no pool at all.. False info. I think that the owner should have at least give us the round trip to airport for free due to the fact that we paid for something that we didn't get, I had to negotiate to pay half for round trip.. Anyways.. I won't recommande it. First and last time for me

Hello Mr micko and thanks for being with us, sorry about the incident, but we offer you right away other room and you refuse to do it and stay in the room the 3 days . also is true we give you ride to airport and charge you round trip from airport to hotel and hotel to airport for usd 62 but also you refuse to pay and give us only usd 40 , you want us to give you for free the stay and honest Mr micko we cant do that is expensive to operate this busines, I can see this review show you hungry to us because we dont charge you less (usd 40 taxes and breakfast included per day) sorry about the inconvinient and we will work in some issues to be better. Thanks again Mr Micko.

It was great. Close to local eating places, taxi and bus. Excellent continental breakfast. Definitely get a room with air conditioning. People were very friendly. Take your google translator if you don’t speak Spanish.

Affordable in Puerto Morelos
Bed comfortable. Quiet neighbourhood at night. Nice upper patio for breakfast. The addition of some protein like hard boiled eggs would have been appreciated along with the toast, fruit and yogurt. The room was very small but adequate for a short time. Friendly staff. It would be helpful to offer a free map of the town like we found at a restaurant. Good restaurants nearby. Appreciate the book exchange

Very funky!! Loved the ceramic frogs glued to the walls and the upstairs patio. A great place for reading in the evening, nice and quiet.

Almost hidden, away from tourist area. We liked the area. The hotel was cute, in a funky way. Many mosquitoes, all the window screens were broken or loose at the edges, but the a/c worked. Nice friendly couple were running it.

We chose the basic room. The room was clean. There was barely a trickle of water coming out of the sink. I had to use bottled water to brush my teeth. There was no hot water for either my shower or my husband's. There were 10 trickles of water coming out of the shower head. I barely got the shampoo out of my hair. The bed was ok but I looked at the pillow inside the pillow case and it was disgustingly stained. I used my tiny pillow I brought on the plane. Our room only had a ceiling fan so we had to keep the window open. We were awoken many, many times during the night from loud talking outside our window. The breakfast was adequate and simple. The people were very friendly. The decorations outside the court yard are authentic Mexican and charming. It is a decent place to stay if you don't mind the things I mentioned above.

hello and really sorry you stay was not the best. Yes infortunatly there was no water in town for 24 hours our thanks run out of water, yes you choose a basic room with fan but we have room with ac. yes maybe stain but not dirt we cant affor to buy pillows every time we have a stain in the pillow or linen we are a budget b and b . but we will try to get better in the things you mentuioned.

I really dont know how this got an excellent. Im not trying to be mean, but i booked because of the reviews and 4.5 out of 5. I didnt saty and got another place. Neighborhood sketchy, ive never turned my diamond ring around and walking to get a cab, I did. The lady who recieved me was beyond nice. The fan was falling off the ceiling, the crack under the door to the room allowed mosquitos, bathroom was ok, but i would call the flat screen something of an amenity. The photos that were show for sure was not what I booked. Thankfully I was able to get another hotel last min.

Sorry to heard that but like you say you don’t stay in our place you judge a place if you don’t stay but we understand you you have the right to believe whatever you want but not the right judge people first place if you so scare why you travel how come you are so rich with you diamonds a make a reservation in a B and B that charge you usd 50 breakfast included? Never judge a book by the title thank you very much Mrs ego next time take you time to read location we are very clear we are not a beach property or don’t you know how to read?

This place is over priced for what it is. I've stayed at other places in Mexico for similar rates and this was the worst value for my money. The shower had enough hot water to get my hair wet, and ran out before I could apply shampoo. I was freezing from my cold shower. It was December, so the nights are chilly. There was no blanket on my bed! Only a thin, top sheet. I had to put on all of my layers to get warm and used a dry towel as a blanket. The bed was awful. It was too tiny beds (smaller than a twin) pushed together. No matter how you lay, you will be sleeping on the hard lump between the two mattresses. Expedia told the owner that I was unhappy with my stay, so she came and banged on my door at 10:15 pm. I was already sleeping. She started shouting at the door that she wanted to move my room, so I wasn't unhappy. I had to tell her several times that I was sleeping and didn't want to move rooms. I had to be up at 5am for my flight home. There were a lot of mosquitos. Also, the room was so small that I did not have enough floor space to organize my small suitcase (carryon size) for my trip. There are bikes to lend, but they are rusty, missing parts of the brakes and are in bad shape. This place would be a good deal for $20 a night. Anything more is a rip off. There are some nicer suites that would be worthwhile for $35-40. I would generally avoid this property. No blankets. No hot water.

Great Experience..Wonderful Hosts
We had the pleasure of staying at the off site accommodations of Buenos Dias B&B for 3 weeks in Feb/Mar 2018. Our unit had a full kitchen and one bedroom with a very comfortable bed and lovely linens. Breakfast was always a good time for meeting guests from around the world while enjoying Eva's wonderful coffee. Fresh fruit, juice, yogurt, cream cheese and bread were always available. Bernardo and Eva were most helpful providing details and information for any excursions,sites or trips around the area. We felt more like friends than clients by the end of our vacation. There are many restaurants and fruit stands and grocery stores (with ATM's) nearby. We did not rent a car as the taxis are inexpensive ($30 pesos for the 3 km trip to the beach area) and bus service is safe and available for wherever you want to go.

I went to Puerto Morelos to see sister who was on her sailboat at the marina. She had other guests on the boat so I was looking for an inexpensive place place to stay. I originally booked for 2 nights and ended up staying for 3. I traveled alone for these 3 days and felt very safe. My hosts were great. They were always available to answer questions and give advice - about the local area as well as Mexico in general. My room was immaculate upon arrival and was cleaned to perfection everyday. The other guests were multi-national and fun to be around. Breakfast was light - coffee/tea, toast, juice, fruit and yogurt - and self-serve - all the guests ate together in the little seating area and it was enjoyable. There is a community refrigerator in the main seating area. Chedraui - the big grocery store is a couple blocks away and there are small grocers on every corner, it seemed. The free bikes were a plus as I used them to get to the beach area (about 15 minutes by bike), the grocer and to see my family at El Cid Marina. I also used a taxi (Bernardo or Ava will call one for you) which cost 25 pesos for a trip to la playa. If you are going to the Marina - take your bike - the taxi ride is ridiculously priced. I wish I had more time as I would have stayed longer. I was just getting familiar with the surrounding neighborhood.

This friendly B and B is a well-kept, bright and cheerful spot with a friendly, sincere staff in a local neighborhood. We stayed the last night of our vacation. I wasn't feeling well and the room we were given smelled of air freshener that was more than my stomach could handle. The manager was out on errands, and the maid, despite the language barrier preventing us from explaining the problem, devoted herself to helping us. We were offered another room that was faintly musty and due to allergies, had to decline. We were then offered a small suite that smelled clean and fresh. The maid and the manager sincerely wanted all to be well, and checked on us several times. The clean, spacious studio had an induction cooktop, 3/4 size fridge, and basics provided. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The air conditioning and internet worked well. All was freshly painted. In contrast, the windows were 3 small screened cutouts, and a cloudy transom to permit natural light was sealed with thick bubbly insulation foam. The shower was a bit ramshackle: the water sputtered, the faucet handle was held on with a screw, the door didn't close. But it worked! Toilet was fine. Water pressure was acceptable. . Buenos Dias is a gem: colorful and bright but a bit rough around some edges. The essentials are in order, all is well-tended, the staff genuinely care. We missed the continental breakfast, which is served on a lovely second story terrace overlooking the courtyard.

Hidden Gem!!!!
My stay was awesome!! The location is extremely clean and you get the real Mexican feel of the neighborhood. I reserved the studio- kitchenette which was very spacious and cooled off quickly with the air conditioner. The TV has a lot of channels and the room gets a great amount of natural sunlight. The host and her husband are very nice and knowledgeable about the area, transportation and the overall experience of Cancun and Playa del Carmen. A light breakfast is provided which included fresh fruit, toast, juice, coffee and yogurt. The fruit was different each day but was equally delicious. Across the street is a little lady that grills the best chicken and ribs everyday for sale, it is cheap but delicious. Each morning my girlfriend and I would use the bikes to ride around the town and even to the beach. This was one of the best parts of this trip. I recommend this location because the price is cheap and right between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. This gives you the chance to enjoy both beaches and alternate evening adventures. Overall the town of Puerto Morelos is a great place to visit because you have the ability to enjoy local life while feeling safe and not breaking the bank. I plan to return and request the same room. Nothing bad to say at all about Buenos Dias! Also, the host will get a cab to you quickly and with fair prices.

Lovely B&B
We really enjoyed our stay here. You can experience an authentic stay here in a neighbourhood, and practice your Spanish with the hosts. We stayed in a basic room and then a room with kitchenette and both rooms were really nice and a good size. The hosts are amazing, so friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast to start the day. Really enjoyed the use of the bikes and snorkeling equipment. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who is wanting to stay in the town. It is about a 15 minute bike to the beach.

It was good for what we paid, the decor was nice and had Christmas lights up during night. The lady Eva was very good and called taxi for us when ever we needed it and helped us with other things but few things to keep in mind it is in middle of a small town. 1.taxi drivers had difficulty finding the place 2.there were cats meowing and dogs barking in the middle of the night so if you want soundless sleep this is not the place 3.no nearby dining place 4.we saw a roach and a lizard in the room and my children were too frightened to sleep 5.bathroom doors have a glass door and you can see the legs while using it from out side 6. breakfast was ok- no protein though

The description of the hotel doesn't let you know that there is NO air conditioning in the rooms. The ceiling fans are not enough to keep the room cool. Very hard to sleep, dogs barking cats howling and BUGS in the bed. Continental Breakfast was very mediocre.

The hostess was very welcoming, gave me a much larger room for just 5 dollars more. It was very clean and comfortable but a little noisy (barking dogs, car alarm) at night. This place is in a residential neighborhood/barrio walking distance from the ADO bus station and a taxi area, near an elementary school. Nice taco restaurant and coffee shops nearby. I would stay here again, nice for the price.

Great little place to stay in a local's neighborhood! Easy to get to town via bus or bike's that b n b provides at no charge. Good coffee n fresh fruit yogurt n toast for breakfast and Bernard n Eva have great tips on what to do n where to eat in town..great experience for adventurous travelers who like less touristy travel!!!

Quiet location in Puerto Morelos pueblo
Staff were helpful before, at, and after arrival. Manager gave helpful recommendations for finding places to eat while on foot. Suite was basic, but clean. Breakfast was good.

Great hotel in the Colonias
We enjoyed our stay with Bernardo and Eva. The hosts are friendly and will help you with things to do around the Riviera Maya. The hotel has a lovely courtyard with hammocks to rest in and bikes to go out and explore the colonias.
