Overall a nice stay with good food and beautiful property. However, very disappointed in promises not kept by management. Stayed for anniversary and told to bring our certificate for a beautiful surprise, only to watch the individual at check in look at it and then appears to just toss it in trash with nothing else said or anything special done for our anniversary. Was told to inform them we are silver Expedia members at check in and were to get bottle of wine and massage for one, but check in told us to talk to another individual, but again no massage or bottle of wine ever provided by anyone we spoke to. Finally told to look at another resort and that it was not a sales pitch and would only last 90 minutes. Four hours later we finished but did receive $200 to spend on an excursion. So, if you want a resort with good food, amazing service from the workers, and a beautiful property, then this would be an option, but if hoping for a special time for a special event, I would go to where you have a better then a 50 -50 chance of it being successfully completed. For the price these extras you plan for should not have been overlooked in so many areas. Still give it 4 stars for the wonderful service the other workers provided to make up for managements oversights.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Breathless Riveria Cancun for four days to celebrate my birthday. This resort was so beautiful and modern. The staff was very attentive and made sure you had everything you needed. I loved the daily activities provided and the free dinner on the beach for all the guests on my final night of my vacation. My boyfriend (turned fiancée) proposed to me adding the cherry on top of this memorable vacation. We will definitely be returning. If you are thinking about visiting definitely book the trip. You won’t be disappointed.

Overall I enjoyed my stay and would go again. However, getting our room took longer than i would of liked. I wish the buffet was open for dinner. Rather than just breakfast and lunch. I wish they had more activities or shows during my stay. The staff was amazing and friendly, the place was very clean and worth the money for the swim up room.

The swim out pool from our room was perfect on the days when we went off site and came back and wanted to cool off. The grounds were nicely maintained, the night life was fun and the pools were great. The food was ok. We liked the Pan-Asian and Strips restaurants the best. We wished the buffet was open for dinner. Alejandro at the Foam bar was our favorite server.

Although fun at times, the hotel itself was average and the food terrible. The entertainment and wait staff was always on hand to make sure you were having a good time, but the concierge staff and upper "management" all need to learn a little something about hospitality.

My wife and I took a couples trip and loved it here. We had a swim out oceanfront room. It was clean and had awesome views. The staff was amazing from check in to check out. The entire hotel support staff, everyone at the pools and restaurants are all 5 star. The food at the Asian restaurant and the Mexican restaurant was amazing. The steak restaurant was mediocre. By the Xcelerate pool they had a good lunch spot that we had lunch at everyday and thoroughly enjoyed. I have nothing bad to say about this resort. The party pool is great if you want to have more of that scene. While we were there it was a theme party Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Xcelerate pool. So if you plan on spending time there, check ahead to see what the themes are during your stay.

The property was clean and in a pretty location. The staff were polite & friendly. The food was not good & the biggest disappointment was the beach property was unusable. The seaweed was at least three feet tall & the hotel was not equipped to clean the beach. Although beach chairs were on the beach, the water was not accesable. I will never stay at this property again because of the beach situation. If you are not a party person this hotel is not for you.

great resort, good food and good vibes and energy. only negative i would say is the beach and it not being swim-able, so if you want a resort with a beach that’s swimmable i would not stay here.

Amazing resort!! super romantic and intimate. I loved that it was a smaller resort.. it was perfect for someones first time to an all inclusive resort.. also since it is smaller less people around acting fools. I loved it and will be back soon! Only issue is that if you want to explore cancun city too then this place is far from the heart of cancun or hotel zonera… so be prepared for pricey cab rides if you like to explore outside of the resort

Had a great 5 day stay at Breathless. This resort definitely knows how to throw a party, which is what we were looking for. The staff and service were amazing. Only complaint was that the food was sub par. A few individual food items at the restaurants were good, but overall I was not thrilled. There is lots to do at the resort and it’s hard to be bored. Especially with the amazing bar tenders. I would recommend this place if partying and drinking is your goal and not relaxing or eating.

The staff was very kind and considerate. They never asked or made it awkward to tip. Making us want to tip more. We wish they had more top shelf alcohol but it may be for safety reasons. We felt our room location was perfect to get to anywhere around the resort, but the gym took awhile to find.

The experience we had at Breathless Riviera Cancun was amazing. It was our first time in Mexico and the food was delicious. The restaurants on site, the service we received, and the various different activities and events they had planned every day made this the best all-inclusive vacation yet for us. The Breathless Riviera Maya is located about 20-30 minutes from the airport, which is a big plus. There isn’t much around the resort except for other resorts. The crowd ranged from 30s-60s. Here are some pros and cons: Pros: - clean rooms with daily servicing - staff was very friendly and helpful (shout out to Omar/Steven/Eloy on the entertainment team, Sofia at poolside service, and Edwin at the steak restaurant) - nice pool with an ocean view and very clean and accessible bathrooms - 2 pools with very different vibes—the larger one is more chill while the other is the party atmosphere - no kids/gen z Cons: - the room would have a strong old water smell if the a/c wasn’t running, which was whenever we weren’t in the room - the food could be better. They don’t seem to believe in seasonings, including salt and pepper, and they exclusively use coconut oil on everything making things taste like coconut that shouldn’t (mashed potatoes, eggs, for example) - food is sometimes hard to find. We were told room service was 24/7 but that turned out not to be the case and the options were very limited (we tried ordering 3 times and it never came). This isn’t the place where you can order whatever you want whenever you want. - poolside food options were only pizza, nachos, and fries. - the beach area is very small with maybe 20 chairs and there isn’t a lot of walking space. - the gym was very small and didn’t have enough a/c to handle the humidity build up.
