Lodge. The property was beautiful and quiet by the

but close enough to walk to everything in the town of Puerto Jimenez including the pier where the local fishing tours and whale / dolphin tours leave from. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. We woke up every morning to Scarlett Macaws in the trees outside of our bungalow and also saw Toucans, and an Otter right on the property. There is also a place very close to go see Crocodiles....

"A little piece of heaven. Very close to the Corcovado National Park, you can walk there. Everyday we would go on a hike, as soon as you walk out of the hotel you start seeing monkeys and all sorts of wildlife. Heck, you don't even need to leave the hotel. We had a group of scarlet macaws constantly hanging out in a tree right outside our room. And a brave little monkey paid a visit one day as well. The food prepared by Chef Coco was amazing! Everything was sourced locally and made from scratch....

"We had a great 5 days at Iguana Lodge. The staff and owner were very friendly and responsive. The room was comfortable. There was a bit of noise from the kitchen and food aromas at times. The only downside to the property was the road leading from Puerto Jimenez to Iguana Lodge. The beachfront and pool were wonderful. Very relaxing. Food was great but more options would have been nice a well. Morning breakfasts were great. "
