Great family spot

This beautiful property is off the beaten path. We loved the park-like grounds and the friendly family who welcomed us. Carolina and he sweet daughter showed us the ropes and connected us with a wonderful taxi driver to take us to Brazil. There is a nice playscape for younger kids.

We very much appreciate our friendly host greeting us on our late arrival. The stay was perfect for us and the accomodations were very clean and well maintained. The morning greeted us with a lovely breakfast. The host also helped us by driving us to the tour guide meeting point location when the itinerary suddenly changed with little notice. Much appreciated!!

Warm reception, conscientious hosts

This family-run posada offered comfortable rooms, pleasant grounds and a capacious outdoor kitchen/dining area. The owners were responsive to our requests and needs. They kindly helped us order food delivery from town, as we didn't realize the location was not walkable to the main streets of Puerto Iguazu. This would be a perfect setting for families with access to a vehicle.

We had a very short one-night stay at Posada del Chamán Iguazú on a trip to Iguazú Falls, with a flight arriving in the evening and planning a day on the Argentinian side of the falls before going to the Brazilian side of the falls the next day. The property is lovely, the rooms are clean, the hosts (Ramiro and his wife) couldn't have been nicer! The logistics of getting around the region and crossing the border hadn't been very clear to me while planning this trip, but Ramiro made it very easy! He picked is up from the airport to go to Posada, dropped us off at the Argentina park entrance the next day, arranged a time to meet at the entrance after the visit, then took us across the border, helped us understand and navigate the customs procedures, and dropped us off at our hotel on the Brazilian side. His rates for handling those transfers were very reasonable and it made our trip quite smooth. Would highly recommend Posada del Chamán Iguazú!

The service was excellent. There was a tornado that occurred while we were there, but the management did things to help us feel safe and secure. Fortunately they had a backup generator. We survived far better than some.

This was a great find just outside of town. It's a house 3 complete apartments​ with kitchen. Our hosts, Ramiro and Carolina were gracious and helped us navagafe around the area. No traffic and the call of jungle birds to wake you

とにかく場所がひどい。道路が土で雨で侵食され、タクシーも下をこすってしまうほど。時速10kmぐらいしかスピードが出せない。 全てのタクシーで追加料金を取られてしまいました。

It’s managed by the owners who are very pleasant and welcoming, our kids had a great time playing in the pool. Since the whole thing is managed by the couple you may have to wait few minutes if you have arranged transport with them, which is not a big deal, I would definitely recommend this place for a family friendly stay.

Beautiful resort in a desolated neighborhood

We did not realize that this hotel in Chamán is nowhere near downtown Iguazú and actually located in a very desolated neighborhood which does not seem very safe. Whenever we were going out to Iguazu fall, meals, or stuff, the hotel would take us there with charge(not very low). Walking to downtown Iguazu takes 40 mins or so and the road is not very pleasant. Hotel itself is newly built and very beautiful. The host has two beautiful dogs which is a plus to us. The room is very tidy and clean. Breakfast is not included and not very cheap.

Really relaxing and beautiful place and friendly

we really loved the place. it was quiet and peaceful. the rooms were large and clean including the bathroom. the kitchen was really good. the staff were very helpful and approachable. a trade off for this serenity was getting around. if you do not have your own vehicle you can walk to town in about 40 mins (too far to walk to falls or airport but thats from any hotel) or you can get a taxi or arrange for the staff to take you at a cost. you can wave down a local bus on the main rd (10 min walk) to take you to and from town and the falls. there was no local bus we could find to the airport only mini bus that picked up from hotels. the Wi-Fi was very intermittent and slow the whole time we were there. there were a couple of storms during our stay so not sure if this affected connectivity. the TV did have a couple of channels in english which was good as this was not always the case in other places we stayed. Overall it is a great option for disconnecting and quiet. id recommend it
