Dejo mucho que desear

Recién llegamos nos dijeron que si teníamos la habitación pero ahí en el hostal no, a pesar de haber reservado y pagado con varios meses de anticipación, nos mandaron a otro hotel en donde en cuarto olía súper feo por la cañería del baño y que lo que podían hacer era que cuando se desocupara una habitación del hostal nos pasarían hacia allá, lo cual sucedió 6 días después, pues la verdad no era lo que esperaba pero al no saber pues aceptamos (hubiéramos pedido el reembolso e irnos a otro hotel pero me dio miedo de que todo eeruviers llevo y nos quedáramos en la calle, iba con mis dos hijos así que no quise arriesgarme) después de ese incidente el cuarto estaba limpio aunque de la ducha del cuarto se salía toda el agua hacia el cuarto. Después de algunos días llego personal del hotel a reclamarnos si nosotros habíamos metido arena en el corredor de los cuartos (es un hotel de playa así que en todos lados hay arena) me pareció verdaderamente una descortesía (aunque nosotros somos cuidadosos y no lo hicimos) verifico que la arena que había era más gruesa que la que traíamos :( pero bueno el hotel está limpio el desayuno de la mañana está ok y pues la verdad llegas cansado a dormir y eso está cómodo.

Fantastic staff!

I cannot say enough about the staff. They went above and beyond to help us find last minute tours and to return a missing item after we had transited to another island. This hotel is perfect for those who come to Santa Cruz to experience the outdoors. This is not a hotel for those who want to spend all day in their room. But who does in the Galapagos?? The showers have hot water, the AC is cold, the beds are comfortable and clean and cold drinking water is provided. It is a quiet location just a few blocks from the busy, crowded main strip.

Buena opción

Fue muy buena nuestra estadía el cuarto siempre limpio el desayuno estaba perfecto solo las personas que atienden deberían ser más atentos todos muy serios medios mal génios. Les falta más cordialidad para atender. De ahí me pareció una buena opción está cerca de todo. Existe al frente un restaurante con buena comida y a precio moderado recomendado.

Owner and staff were quite welcoming.

Bathroom was dirty, toilet paper in the toilet, wet towel, the had no an extra key to be able to get in the room to clean it.

el hotel esta ubicado a unas cuadras del centro. la gente que lo atiende es muy amable y servicial. ayuda y da sugerencias para excursiones. muchas de las actividades se pueden realizar caminando.

Good intentions

Place seems to be recently renovated. Overall decent place, but can hear all kinds of noise (chatter, people walking by, music..) through door and walls. WIFI range is terrible and slow - need to be sitting next to the front desk to get connected. At one point, connection was down for an entire day.

Nothing more than a hostel

The hotel would not rate anything more than a 1 star. We rented two rooms and they were nothing like the photos. The floors were painted cement and they were filthy. No bathroom amenities were provided, my sink faucet didn't work. My companion's bathtub had a gapping crack that would drain right under the foundation. When you explained the problems to the manager he would get an attitude. On my last night I was awakened by a herd of cockroaches running across the nightstand. After I smashed them with my shoe I stayed up with the lights on. Great day of travel home the next day!

A basic and personal hotel in Puerto Ayora.

The hotel service is very personal. The staff is friendly and and it meets the general needs of a basic hotel in Puerto Ayora. The internet signal is generally very poor (it is my understanding that such is the case in many places in the island).

ガラパゴス観光に便利

メイン通りから、少し離れているので静かですが、夜1人で歩くには不安な感じがしました。予定の変更にも快く引き受けてくれあり難かったです。ツアーの案内もしているので、いろいろな所に出かけて行くのに便利でした。

They moved us after one day... Not a good start.

This visit started out poorly. When we got there, they said they would be moving us the next day. We much prefer staying at one hotel, and what this meant was that we would have to pack back up before going out the next day at 6:15 am. Also, the reason they moved us "to do repairs", did not add up as the next day the hotel was full of students in a group, and when I asked about getting my toothbrush that I left in the room, I was told the room had people in it. That said, they put us in a brand new and more comfortable room next door, and still provided us breakfast in the morning. The room we had for the one night was comfortable enough.

Cheap and close to town

Unipark is a no frills hotel. There are about 8 rooms in the entire place. I booked 5 for my customers. Nothing fancy. Clean. Air conditioner worked in all rooms. The young people at the front desk didn't speak any English. My booking also said free airport transfers but they wanted to charge me $70. I met them in the middle and paid $35. This hotel is a 5 minute walk to the cool little town with bars and restaurants. Its also a few minute cab ride to the beach. The beach is a long walk to get to.

Very basic accommodations

The air conditioning worked and the room was clean. Very basic room nothing fancy. Showerhead was not great and room leaked when it rained. About what was expected for the price. Location is near the main strip and restaurants and shops
