"Location perfect for Beach, town and Quay. Train station. Staff very helpful and pleasant Room basic, however, it had everything we needed and clean. Bathroom, Shower, bed, wardrobe, kettle with tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Food and bar was available if required. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended our stay. Would return."

"Lovely location, great staff especially in the restaurant. Room was clean and tidy but finish was slap dash in bathroom. Little things like a wonky splash back, poorly laid floor tiles and film over windows looked like it had been ripped. Whole place needs some investment to bring it back up to standard, that said, it was spotlessly clean, comfortable and welcoming and we would go back."

"The location was very good for a quiet break & watching the chair ferry and other boats from the restaurant was interesting. The very small lift was not very reliable for those who needed it & took a number of goes to get it to work when leaving with our cases. The ‘courtyard’ view from our room was into the inner part of the hotel & was quite noisy when bottles were being disposed of. There was a limited menu in the restaurant which was the same all week. We only managed to find a couple of nearby places to eat, neither of which were within comfortable walking distance. The hotel itself is clean & comfortable & the staff were friendly."

"As a business traveller I won't be staying here again. No food available on site, breakfast or evening meal. It required a 5 mins walk around a couple of corners to a sister venue for evening meal and breakfast the following morning. Okay on a fine day, but not good in bad weather. as a business traveller it was a waste of time. No mention of this issue on the Hotels.com website listing, otherwise I would have passed it over. Bigger issue was no effective desk to use my laptop at, but worse still, absolutely no wifi signal anywhere within the confines of my room, room 4. Could only pick it up out in the courtyard, and as there was nowhere else in the building accessible where I could have sat (bar or restaurant) then I could not effectively complete any work (yet another waste of my time) Okay venue for accessing the centre of Wimborne on a social visit, but useless as a business traveller."

"We really enjoyed our 5 day stay at the Hotel, our standard room was of a very generous size, much bigger than a lot of hotels which was very pleasing. The Hotel throughout was spotlessly clean, and the food was excellent, the staff were very helpful, and the cost was very reasonable, there was always plenty of parking spaces in the car park, and we will definitely visits again, the Hotel exceeded our expectations."

"NEVER STAY IN THIS HELL HOLE. even the welcome mat had a 3 foot hole in it lol the room was old, ripped wall paper, many things was broken, the furniture was old and broken. most and I think illegal, due to fire regulations was the windows was restricted to opening 3 inches, with blocks and screws, we would have had no fire escape if the fire was on our 2nd floor landing, We had no sleep in the two nights stay as it was over 40 degrees in the room with no air paint flaking off radiators, broken glass in the doors the staff was rude and non caring the food was terrible, served a salad that was wilted and not fit to eat, day they messed up our breakfast and gave us fish , instead of bacon we left after 2 days of a 6 day stay"
