"This hotel is one of the most photographed buildings in Gdańsk, with vibrant, distinctive architecture reminiscent of Amsterdam’s tall houses.
The location is excellent—right beside the Golden Gate on the main pedestrian street leading to the river. Restaurants and amber shops line the area, and both The Forum and Madison shopping centres are only a short walk away. Supermarkets offer good value, though only smaller shops open on Sundays. The main train station, Główny, is about a 15‑minute walk, with plenty of buses and trams nearby.
Most reception staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, with daily towel changes. Earplugs were provided for street noise, though they weren’t really needed. The bathroom had hand soap and a hairdryer but no shampoo. Rooms include a fridge and a kettle with tea and instant coffee.
The hotel spans three terraced houses and includes a popular bar/restaurant on the ground floor. The price was very good, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. It was an ideal base for exploring the beautiful city of Gdańsk."
