"Great staff operating a nicely remodeled and well kept property. Comfortable room with all the basics. Free breakfast offered everything I needed, but not the piles of freshly cooked bacon, eggs and sausage that more expensive properties offer. Accessible bathroom needs more grab bars right outside shower and better drainage to keep shower water from flowing under the sink."

"I really enjoyed my stay and only wish I could have stayed longer! There was so much to do, and I was able to take advantage of the pool, hot tub, crafting activities, and a meal at the nearby restaurant. There were still so many other amenities I didn’t get a chance to enjoy, which gives me even more reason to come back. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They are a little dated and have a rustic Western feel, so there is some natural wear and tear that could potentially be mistaken for being “dirty” if you’re expecting a more modern look. Personally, I didn’t find it bothersome and felt the room was perfectly clean for my stay. I also noticed that some of the staff had a more reserved or dry customer-service style. They weren’t rude at all, just not particularly enthusiastic or bubbly. I know this was mentioned in some other reviews, but honestly, it didn’t bother me. Overall, I had a great experience and would happily stay here again. There’s a lot to enjoy, and I’m looking forward to coming back with more time to take advantage of everything offered."

"Schweitzer Village was pretty vacant this time of year and we were thankful for that since we were able to get an amazing room with a beautiful view. Each staff member was extremely helpful and the Humbird had a great game room, gym, and rooftop jacuzzi."
Basecamp

"The room i stayed in was pretty good especially for the price. The rooms have been remodeled and are what the photos show. Pro: everything is pretty much new. Liked that there was a kitchen and full fridge with microwave, sink and stove. Bathroom was really nice too (you will need to use the kitchen sink to wash hands as theres no bathroom sink) and bed was pretty comfortable. The area is overall pretty quiet (besides the cars on the road). The area is also very pretty and you can see alot of the Idaho mountains from your window. Cons: its near the highways and the rooms are incredibly thin. I could hear everything my neighbor was doing from moving around, slightly coughing and grabbing things from the fridge. You can hear every car pass on the highway, and alot of semis pass by. There is a noise machine in the room but I decided against using it so that is on me but something to be aware about. The floors are also really creaky so I had to be careful where I walked so I didn't bother my downstairs neighbor. Also my bed frame was incredibly squeaky. It squeaked everytime i moved slightly in the bed. :( Since it is right off the main road it can be a bit of a hassle to get in and out of the hotel parking lot. Overall these are very very minor inconveniences and they cant control the cars on the road. So I dont want to deduct points on that."
