Poor hotel but good pub next door

Poor hotel, but it is cheap and right next door is a pub that makes best ever chicken wings I've eaten, hence the reason I always stay at Ibis 😂

After reading very mixed reviews for this property I was very apprehensive, however I was pleasantly surprised. some areas could do with a bit more thorough cleaning, but the bed was clean and well presented,the room was adequate, very good shower and reasonably clean. Breakfast was ample, we didnt eat much but it was ok(didnt see any tongs for bread). Staff friendly and helpful. We flew into Liverpool airport and travelled to Preston via bus and train, staff in all train and bus stations very helpful, all in all a good stay.

need sound proof wall each room, due to very closed motorway car nosy + customer come in middle of the night loud nosy therefore Unable to sleep, due to hot weather need small fridge in the room will cold water, need air condition with heating together will help adjust temperature

The staff were friendly and helpful. Carpet in the rooms needs to be changed. Surprised no drinking water was available in the room and no electrical socket beside the bed. Luckily reception had an extension lead that we could use for my husband's CPap machine
