A wonderful hotel. The location is perfect- fairly close to amenities and yet secluded. The ambience of gives a true tropical vibe with hibiscus in bloom. The room was spacious, inviting and clean. The food - what can I say - it was exquisite, flavourful and homely. I loved the Creole night which offered a taste of local food and culture. Highly recommended!

Excellent for people looking for a quiet place

Very nice property to relax. Beach is not ideal for swimming due to the sea grass. Remote from the center (need a car). Staff is very friendly but not very knowledgable - could not answer to many questions we had. Housekeeping lady was THE BEST :-) super friendly. Breakfast buffet needs improvement (different selection and fresh juice).

Poor service and outdated rooms

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The location, hotel area and the views are fantastic! However, the hotel is outdated and the pictures on the website are a little bit misleading. What disappointed us the most were the reception staff, who often rolled their eyes after questions and seemed to be annoyed with their guests. Unfortunately, we did not feel very welcome as guests in this hotel. Even after paying the bill, we were not thanked.

L’hotel si trova in una posizione logisticamente comoda per visitare l’isola in auto. Scordatevi taxi extra cari e trasporto pubblico quasi inesistente. Camera grande spaziosa e luminosa ma soprattutto sempre ottimamente pulita e in ordine. Colazione molto buona, cena altrettanto specie quando organizzano le serate a buffet. Insomma hotel davvero ottima scelta. Unica pecca che non dipende affatto dall’hotel è pagare 10€ al gg di tassa sull’ambiente che sembra proprio un classico modo (all’italiana) di fregare il turista con la scusa ormai trendy del salviamo l’ambiente whatever it takes.

Fin pool och strand men dyrt

Trevligt fräsch hotell. Fin pool och bra läge på stranden. Inte öns vackraste strand men helt ok. Maten på restaurangen har en del att önska. Wi-Fi är dåligt överallt. De tar extra betalt gör allt. Kan tycka att dricksvattnet borde ingå. Tex i miljövänlig stil att man går en metall eller glasflaska vardera och sen själv kan fylka på den vid poolen, restauranger och reception. Men det finns ej här. Personal och service är dock jättebra. Utflykter som hotellet anordnar är inte jättebra. Mysigt hotellområde men långt från övriga restauranger etc.

Lovely quiet resort on Praslin

Does what it says on the tin. Private beach, great location, helpful staff - only slight drawback is the food options are a bit limited. This was our second visit and it lived up to our expectations.

Trés moyen.

Hôtel bien situé, belle plage en contrebas, piscine sympatique. Personnel souriant mais trés lent, petit-dej et dîner assez moyen si vous êtes exigeant, carte des vins plutôt restreinte. L'hôtel est vieillot mais les chambres sont spacieuses et ont du être refaite. Attention il faut également savoir qu'aux seychelles, tout est éteint à 23h max, donc n'y allez pas pour faire la fête. Bref bilan trés mitigé pour cet hôtel qui, à mon avis, ne mérite pas 4 étoiles, et où il vaut mieux faire un court séjour si on ne veut pas s'ennuyer cruellement. Il est évident qu'on est loin du luxe que l'on aurait pu imaginer. OT

L'Archipel is the only hotel in a very nice beach (Anse Gouvernement) so you will be able to enjoy this natural wonder without disturbance. The hotel is well integrated with Praslin natural beauty. Hotel staff is very friendly and happy to help with any of your requests - from excursions to taxi arrangements. Rooms can be located quite close to the beach, so you can fall asleep while listening to the sea and the sounds of all the island birds. I was impressed with the high cleaning standard and the two daily upkeeps of our room - as this hotel is integrated with nature it is quite difficult to keep the insects at bay, something that the hotel managed quite successfully.
