「It’s a beautiful property. We just visited and the season is nearly over so we were not able to use the pool or the grotto. The breakfast was very nice and you could ask for made to order eggs, fresh juice and coffee. We had amazing massages outside on a terrace arranged by the staff. They also went out of their way to help us with our private transfers. It was so peaceful, It felt like a true slice of paradise!」

「We travelled throughout Italy, and stayed at multiple places. La Barbera was by far the best place we have stayed and personally the best place I had ever stayed. First off, the staff was attentive and were willing to do anything to help you with whatever you needed. Whether is was information, transportation, recommendations, they were helpful. The breakfast in the morning with a beautiful view daily was amazing. The rooms are beautiful, top-notch cleanliness, and a beautiful outside...

Antonella goes above and beyond for her guests and prepares everything you need including how to travel to your excursions, navigating the bus system, and maintaining continuous contact via WhatsApp to answer questions quickly. Our only caveat was that our room had an ant infestation our first night which the staff helped us get rid of ASAP. Otherwise, the property and its suites are pristine—the ocean views are impeccable as you enjoy...

The bed was really dated - the mattress seemed old in style - no cushion - due to the lack of comfort and the pillows were flimsy. We paid for the room with the view and you’re really just paying for the view. You don’t have a legit balcony..it’s a walk way and it’s shared. The style needs an a design uplift into 2025 from the 90s. The hotel offers massages (buy the bar) but they don’t offer robes and slippers in...

「The room is very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast is great with sea view. Although staff is not available at front desk all time, you could communicate with staff easily over the phone for a remote check in. Bus stop to positano is right next to this bnb. 」

「This place promised a lot and underdelivered. The room that we paid for wasnt given to us - we paid for one with a shower and private balcony, but got neither. When we raksed this, the owner was confrontatjonal and did not offer a refund. We rebooked at hotel marverita and loved our stay there. They also have a Terrible restaurant, we were served whole fried prawns that hadnt been cleanedout, and the staff member told us to eat it whole.」

Hotel location is excellent - it is away from the busy touristy area in Positano, but it is still very convenient because the hotel offers free shuttle service to the town centers of both Positano and Praiano.
