Disappointed with Hotels.com

Booked 4 nights 60 sq meters room and the hotel offered only 40 sq meters room to us on the 1st night. After negotiation, the hotel changed to the room we booked room for the last three days which is spacious and comfortable. However, The email that I sent to Hotels.com did not get any .response or arrange refund for .almost a week. Very disappointed about Hotels.com

Everything is excellent

The location of the hotel is great, just 5 mins walk to Charles Bridges. The hotel is very great no matter in terms of decoration, cleaness and staff. 100% worth for the stay.

5 stars from us! A beautiful hotel, very well located to tour the city with plenty also on the doorstep. Our room/apartment was amazing, fully furnished with a fully equipped kitchen. Having a separate bedroom made all the difference to the comfort and a feeling of being right at home. Overall, the apartment was pristine and spacious. The staff were super friendly and took an interest in us and our stay in Prague offering some local tips and suggestions. We are already booking a return visit to Prague and this hotel.

Das Hotel kennen wir seit einigen Jahren. Zwei 14-tägige Aufenthalte pro Jahr. Mit dem neuen Management kann man es nicht mehr als Hotel definieren. Ein Service existiert nicht! Nach Anfrage: Keine Bodylotion, keine Slippers, keine Flasche Wasser bei Ankunft, Wechsel der Bettwäsche und Boden wischen nach 5! Tagen. Hatte Fieber und wollte die Bettwäsche nach 3 Tagen ersetzt bekommen. Abgelehnt.... Kleine Appartements werden mit vier Personen belegt. Das Geld nicht wert.

I visit Prague few times a year and we alway stay at Old Royal Post. We've made mistakes in the past and booked hotels that posted nice pictures online but looked nothing like advertising (some hotel have anex buildings). Old royal post is my choice everytime I am in Prague! I've booked 1 room, 2 room suite and even loft with a balcony throughoutgew years. All rooms were beautifully decorated, unique, clean and comfortable. Location is great, Charles Bridge right around the corner, tram stations, shops near by. Lots of dining options around as well. Vertba garden near by (must see if you into gardening). During hot summer week it was great to have AC units in both rooms. All rooms have small kitchen area, great if you travel with kids. Staff is always very sweet and helpful. Can't wait to come back again!

This was an awesome hotel that I will recommend to all my friends. The apartment was lovely, clean, large and had a balcony where we had breakfast. Everything was provided and worked well. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The location is great on a small square close to all attractions and very walkable. Would absolutely stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Old Royal Post. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and went over and above in every way. The suite was beautiful and spacious and exceeded our expectations. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel called “Mon dieu”, which is delicious, and has an open air courtyard patio garden for dining within the hotel. The hotel is very well located (a block away from the Charles Bridge and various main tram lines.) We can’t say enough good things about this place. We recommend staying here and will definitely come back.

First the many, many pluses--location, location, location! This hotel is so close to the attractions (Charles bridge--2 min. walk, Prague castle-10 min.walk, Petrin, Astronomical Clocktower) but on a quiet side street which is LOVELY. The hotel rooms are beautiful, everything feels fresh, new, excellent beds/mattresses to sleep on. Our apartment even had a washing machine. The staff is lovely and helpful. The Mondieu restaurant right next doors is excellent and it feels like part of the hotel which makes for easy food options. Close by is a grocery store too. You have to walk to the Petrin rozhledna when you come--it's a bit of a hike but the view is phenomenal! The single issue is the AC. It works fine but makes pretty bad noise every few minutes, making it a bit unenjoyable to relax. We were told this only affects three apartments so if you are booking a single room, it would not be an issue. In sum, we would 100% stay again, just not in #26 and the other two apartments where this is an issue.
