However, after experiencing the chaos and beauty of the nearby town, we had bought ingredients to cook on our trangia stove on the balcony on our own steel table. 「Die Anlage und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Die Mitarbeiter haben immer sehr nett gegrüßt und waren sehr bemüht. Was wir schade fanden (vor allem bei einem Hotel dieser Klasse), war, dass wir trotz zweimaligem Nachfragen nicht eine Stunde später auschecken durften. 「Beautiful views. Quite a distance from the town. Hotel was clean. The hotel is from the 50s but built in the 80s and it does not seem to have had any updates since then. Breakfast was terrible with the only warm food being scrambled egg. The rooms had two bathrooms for some reason. The shower was like a jet wash so if you like that type of pressure then you are in luck. The swimming pool appeared to be abandoned/not open. Malcesine is stunning.」
