Hotels.com told me the property refused to refund. "I would love to give this a high rating because the staff was great and the location is good. I will also say that it’s very safe. I can’t give it a high rating because there were more than a dozen items in the room that needed a hand on it. Simple things which makes you wonder what the issue is. I didn’t see other rooms but the maid service attempted to come in every day with no way to say “do not disturb”. The first day I thought it was someone at the wrong room because I don’t speak Italian....
