The room was clean, newly renovated. No elevator. The kitchenette was very basic, no table and only one chair. The fridge didn't appear to cool good.

Great location - right next to Comox/Texada ferry. Central to Powell River. Walking distance to downtown, local caffe's and restaurants. Greatest ocean view in the area! Rooms were clean, but a coffeemaker did not work properly and the air-conditioning system was very loud. However, you have to use it as the room was getting very hot in the afternoon. Free parking, but not enough for all guests. Plenty of free street parking available.

If I could give 100 stars for the staff, I would! Fayad at the frontdesk is exceptional! From check in to check out the service is *chef kiss* they even have a lounge area where my friends and I hang out and fayad made sure we got all we need and made us popcorn too! Will surely stay here again when we’re in Powell river! The location is very prime too! Very near to all the good restaurants and good spots!

This was a lovely little oasis. Small but mighty comes to mind. The need was exceptionally comfortable and the sheets were amazingly soft! Tiny little bathroom but it has everything we needed and more. Clean as a whistle as well. All the stars, especially for the price point.

Waterways was a great place to stay in Powell River. The location is ideal for ferry travellers, located steps away from the ferry terminal and ticket sales building. The shower in my room was 10+, with an overhead rain-shower/sunlamp set up, as well as separate hand-held shower attachment. The bathroom touch-screen mirror with surround lighting and defrost was also a nice touch. However, the faucets leaked, so the counter around the sink was always wet. A grab bar in the shower would be a suggestion for safety. There was no peekhole on the door (not good!), nor a safety chain or secondary security bolt. The bed was comfortable and the pillows and duvet were like sleeping wrapped into a cloud. The room had no closet - more hanging space/options needed!! Another small thing: please have pens and paper/notepad in the rooms.The over the bed lightswitch was hidden behind the pillows and I had to call the front desk to find out how to turn it off. Again, just a small detail- which could be avoided by a simple card in the room, explaining room features. The biggest negative would be noise: despite the sign at the front desk declaring "QUIET HOURS OBSERVED FROM 10PM TO 8 AM, for the comfort of all guests", I experienced very loud music from several rooms after 11 pm during my stay and there was a party going on one evening next door which thankfully abruptly ended around 12:30 am. I would book this hotel again and found the staff very professional as well.

The pictures in compared to the hotel felt like a bait and switch. The room had 1 little window. No where near the bed with no view. Not my fav and felt conned.

The view of the hotel was fantastic. Our room was clean and staffs were friendly. We wish there is an elevator. Getting up and down could be challenging for some people such as seniors.

Rooms were not soundproofed and we didn’t get any of the “daily housekeeping” they said they provided. Shower was nice, beds were comfortable enough. Woke up to ferry traffic every morning. Staff did not feel very welcoming, almost felt like a bother. Probably won’t be back.

Was freezing cold in room , mid day. Winter. Tiles on floor absolutely freezing cold. Thin walls so every footstep above heard for 2 floors. Could hear regular conversation in next room Loved that it had mini fridge, small microwave and a good coffee maker.
