"The owner was just fantastic, so attentive to our needs and the secret way to locate the property, (if you know, you know, it is a genius), the first people and or persons we were introduced to were three stunning horses. (Two of our favourite royals after Kate of course, & My Wife' nickname), we loved the alpacas, the rabbits, the dogs and it was just so picturesque and beautiful. Our whole holiday was just perfect we didn't want to leave. We would love to see the owner again and love that part...

"Das Cottage ist teil einer kleinen Schaffarm. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Cottage ist sehr modern jedoch gemütlich eingerichtet mit jeglichem Komfort wie Wasch und Spülmaschine. Es liegt etwas abseits und der Weg zur Farm ist etwas rau aber wenn man eine ruhige Lage sucht ist man hier goldrichtig. Eine absolute Empfehlung wenn man das wundervolle Cornwall erkunden will und einen gemütlichen ruhigen Rückzugsort zur Erhohlung sucht."

Each meal felt lovingly prepared, with hearty portions and rich flavors that celebrated local ingredients. Dinner in the historic dining room was a treat. 🛏️ My room was a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Exposed beams, a cozy bed, and thoughtful touches like fluffy towels made it feel like a home away from home. The peaceful surroundings meant I slept soundly each night. 🌸 Whether you’re stopping by on a scenic road trip or seeking a quiet weekend retreat, The Hoops Inn delivers warmth, flavor, and character in equal measure. "We were in town mainly to visit nearby Port Isaac (because we loved the Doc Martin series). If you don't mind the steep hill, you can walk from one town to the other in about 15 minutes, and the Port Gaverne hotel was relatively affordable. We had a good dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and the staff was friendly. The only thing we'd mention is that we were on the top floor, which had nice views but is up an extremely narrow and steep staircase. So if you couldn't make that climb, be sure to ask for a room on a lower floor."

"The breakfast was fresh and good. Lovely fresh fruit salad. Lunch in the bar is very good. Lots of free and easy parking directly outside the hotel. The decor inside is so rich, where do you look first, beautiful and tasteful. Our room had a four poster bed which we were not expecting, real treat, the room had a panoramic view of the coast line. We just had a wonderful time."

"Property was well equipped and clean, beds were really comfortable. The pool, sauna, showers etc were all clean and everything including the outside area's were well kept. It was lovely and quiet, we really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. The staff were all really helpful and friendly."
