「Likely one of the strangest check-in experiences of my life. Admittedly, we got in late (11pm). I called the phone number indicated and was eventually greeted by a shirtless, shoeless man. He called another person on the phone, yelled for a bit, and then escorted me to the room. I can’t be sure because of the language barrier, but I’m 90% sure he was inviting me to his room for a drink after we dropped off the luggage. He came right into the room with me and I briefly saw my life flash...

「Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Nid de l’Ecureuil. Très belle chambre, propre et parfaitement tenue, dans un charmant petit village. Les hôtes sont absolument adorables et attentionnés. 「We visited for a weekend from the UK to attend a wedding in the area. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and we arrived to find that our two twin rooms and had been changed to a family suite, which was perfect for our needs. Lovely breakfast and everything spotlessly clean. Air con was much appreciated during a very hot weekend. The only disappointment was that the pool was dirty and poorly maintained - I wasn’t even sure if it was open, the condition was so poor, with murky cloudy...
