"Good hotel overall: good location, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. Areas for improvement: the sink and toilet could be cleaner, and the towels could smell fresher."

"Friendly welcome on arrival. Perfect location right on Arugam Beach, walkable to all the beachfront restaurants, and about 5-10 minutes to the high street with plenty more restaurants, bars and shops. Our room was quite basic and small, but perfectly sufficient for 2 people staying a week. Clean, with linen and towels changed every 3 days. Nisha and her brothers are on site at all times and were always helpful with questions or requests, and served delicious breakfasts every morning. They also helped us with laundry. Having the surf school right outside our accommodation was extremely handy. There are a few late night parties at the restaurants next door on Saturdays and Sundays, we got a heads up about this in advance. It didn't bother us much, we enjoyed the music and used earplugs later at night if needed. We shall visit again if we are back in Arugam Bay."

"Solid spot!! Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Would stay here again. Very VERY hard bed though. Other than that the place was incredible. Hot water! Pool was clean and great. Quiet spot. Close to everything. Enjoyed this place."

"I got to Rocco’s early August 2026 and it was so hot during the day. The rooms had really good air conditioning and there is a nice pool near by. The staff are very hospitable and super friendly."
