"Excellent stay: rooms are clean and comfortable. A/C worked great, shower was awesome and surrounding views are beautiful. Great restaurants in town as well as small grocery store and ATM. "Berkey himself is a gracious, helpful, and thoughtful host. His communications are excellent and once there, he will be there for you. He attends to details and has pride in this hideaway. It requires a walk up ~40 steep steps but once on top, your are in a beautiful valley with wildlife and jungle sounds. "Located conveniently to downtown and surrounding sights which were not far by car Would be great if host provided restaurant recommendations in the room Only negative is there us no hottub at the pool (I thought the small pool was a hottub) and the hot water for shower is wonky otherwise great stay"

"Loved our stay!"

"Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so...
