Check in was at 4pm however due to staffing, etc, I wasn’t checked in until 6:30pm. And that was after calling the front desk and informing them about a clean room that I found for myself. Also, because I booked through Expedia, they said they couldn’t give me any discount for the serious inconvenience (late check in made me late for an event I was attending). So, not only didn’t I get compensation for my inconvenience, I may now stop using Expedia due to no way of correcting negative hotel experiences…
