There was a mix up over our booking but it was quickly sorted out with the help of the fantastic staff. We were transferred to their sister hotel and again the staff could not have been more helpful. Reasonable breakfast and excellent shuttle service to the airport.

In dem gebuchten Hotel war kein Zimmer verfügbar - uns wurde aber im Partnerhotel 500 m weiter ein Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir wurden in das andere Hotel (Solar Antigo de luxe) gefahren - ein sehr schönes Hotel - ansprechend ausgestattet. Es waren kostenlos Getränke im Zimmer. Der Transfer zum Flughafen war kostenlos. Das Frühstück war einfach - aber für eine Übernachtung vor dem Flug o.k. Das Personal war sehr freundlich - Preis - Leistung hat gepasst.

Looks different in pictures than in person. The rooms are very small and there is no ventilation between the bathroom and bedroom, as they are next to one another in proximity. The sheets have stains on them and not a comfortable experience, do not recommend if flying out.

I recently had the unexpected pleasure of staying at Solar Antigo Porto Aeroporto after a long day of travel left me completely exhausted. I hadn’t planned to stay in Porto that night and didn’t have a reservation, so I was incredibly grateful they had a room available. The room itself was charming and impeccably clean, with everything feeling fresh and thoughtfully put together. The bed was especially comfortable—exactly what I needed after a full day on the move—and the small minibar was a nice touch. I genuinely appreciated the little details that made the space feel welcoming. What stood out most, though, was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Every interaction—from help with directions, to offering a delicious breakfast, to even assisting with dinner the night before—was met with kindness and generosity. Their genuine care made me feel at ease and well looked after. All in all, I give Solar Antigo Porto Aeroporto a solid 5 out of 5. I’m truly thankful for their hospitality and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

This property is excellent. The location is perfect if you are returning a vehicle at the airport. You can either ask them to pick you up or you can walk. You can also walk to the airport or their 24 hour shuttle will take you or pick you up. It is very close. The staff go out of their way to make your stay relaxing and comfortable.

We booked this hotel because it had breakfast and shuttle service to the airport. The breakfast was great and brought directly to your room. There was confusion about the shuttle and we were told that someone would help us with our bags when we walk to the airport. It was raining so this was not a good option, but that is what happened. The airport is very close but when the weather is inclement it makes it difficult. The hotel is very clean and the staff is helpful.

The nicest, most helpful staff. Bed very comfortable. Bedroom open ( sound wise) to bathroom, which we didn’t expect. Hot water delivered with breakfast was barely hot, not hot enough to make tea. The rest of the breakfast was just fine.

The hotel is quiet, clean and right across from the airport terminals. There were two of us and the room is very small and there really is no lobby. It’s fine for an overnight stay with an early flight - and you’re there only to sleep. The staff we encountered were very friendly. Be sure to let them know ahead of time if you want the shuttle to the terminal.
