This was the best place we've stayed at on our trip! The apartment is so spacious (it has 2 bathrooms!) and beautifully decorated. It's well equipped with modern facilities, yet still reserves the old charms. The building also has a lovely backyard with a pool. The location is perfect - close to most attractions and a few min walk to Capela das Almas de Santa Catarina and Bolhão market. Highly recommend!

A lovely apartment hotel near to the market and public transport. A lot of great local bars and restaurants very nearby. I would not hesitate to stay again. Up to you if you want the breakfast, it’s fairly basic and there are such nice cafes and bakeries near by you could pop out for fresh pastry and the like easily every morning.

We, a group of friends, spent a rainy October week in Porto. Staying in Aparthotel Oporto Alves da Veiga was a very good choice, as the place has an exceptionally good location and very nice apartments with all convenience of a home. But the biggest asset ( in our humble opinion) is reception manager Joana. She is the hostess every traveler could dream of: welcoming, professional, resourceful. Her knowledge of the area and readiness to happily share it made our stay even more enjoyable and efficient. We highly recommend this hotel and it will be our hotel of choice when we come back to see sunny Porto.
