Room blocked all outdoor sound, very tranquil. Great connections to transit (500 bus and Metro). Luggage lockers are handy. Kitchenette seemed to work fine. Very clean. Would stay again.

Perfect Location, Excellent Stay

Loved the location of this small, boutique hotel - just next to the São Bento train station. We were in the perfect location to explore Porto and make a quick getaway by train. In a very central area, there are small shops nearby as well as restaurants and cafes. The room itself was clean and while small, perfectly serviceable for a few nights. Checkin and out was very easy with access via codes for entry. The hotel was surprisingly quiet for how centrally located it was. We will absolutely stay here again when we visit Porto - loved it!

Mystay Porto is very accessible from Sao Bento Station and it was a really big help since we have an early train ride going back to Lisbon. The room is not that big but spacious enough for small luggages. We were able to check-in as well, and we really appreciate that they did allow so. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we will surely come back.

Toilet seat was broken, shower head pipe was broken (had to physically hold it up straight to take a shower), property stated that I had a suite with a balcony. This was not a suite and there was no balcony - just a tiny courtyard (think jail cell). The best thing going for this place was it’s proximity to the Sao Bento Metro station and the Cathedral Se.

Check-in was a bit complicated, and I had a hard time getting through to the online staff on the phone. The cleaning staff at the facility were very kind and friendly.

With a bit of care, repairs, coffee maker, updates and response from management this could be a 5star. Modern design, great location- but we had no wifi, no communication after check in. Self check in with no reception, info was sent by message. The wifi didn’t work and when we messaged to get it fixed- NO response at all. Check out time was indicated as 12pm but we got a message to checkoit at 10 or an extra charge. when I asked about luggage storage NO response until after we checked out. Disappointed in hotels non responsiveness. Rooms are very small with no place to unpack. Patio was great. AC wasn’t productive, one vent was sweaty and the other had no air coming out at all. Room smelled musty.

This is a very basic place to stay that is close to the train station and tourist areas. There is no staff present to help you and you cannot access your room early. Only 6 lockers for luggage and all were in use. It is clean! Area is sketchy but I was told it’s safe.

At the Heart of Porto

Great place to stay. Clean and quite, with innovative check in. One struggle with the check in; the door code did not work. I had no mobile service to make calls in Europe. Fortunately, a local family member called the customer service number and resolved the issue.

The best part about this property is the location with most tourist spot accessible on foot. Room is modern but very small size. U can barely open the suitcase. The room can be kept more clean. The kettle is black inside n looks very terrible.

Disappointed

The room is too small, plugs are hidden near the bed, no plug near the kettle. The lounge only has a microwave, not even vending machines for basics or snacks. Didn't receive the codes to enter and had to call customer service. Also, it says pay at the property but it's not true, you always pay in advance. But the housekeeping staff was very polite and nice.
