Great stay!
Hotel is directly across from train station. Very convenient location. Restaurants close by. Desk was very helpful. Check in was easy. Beds are a little hard but perfectly fine for a short stay. Would recommend.

Nice place to stay
A small hotel offering friendly service. Breakfast well worth the charge - croissants big enough for two! One comfortable public room serves locals and residents alike at modest prices. USB sockets are built into the hairdryer bracket in the bathroom. The room was kept spotless during our three nights stay. Being an older building, its windows are quite small and ours had opaque glass and opened onto a light-well, so no view, but those like us, who prefer to be out exploring Porto, will not find this a problem. Room heating/aircon is controlled by the guest via a remote handset and works well. We heard no noise from the street outside. There are plenty of nearby eating places and closeness to Campanhã station is a significant advantage.

This hotel is in a perfect location if you have an early morning train to catch. It is directly across the street from the Campanha station. Our room was minimalistic but clean and newly renovated. Note, there is no elevator.

Very convenient hotel
The hotel is right opposite the main train station and is very convenient for everywhere The staff are very nice and kind. The rooms are a good size and the bathroom is lovely although I would change the shower head to a large one. Everything is very clean & I had a room at the back which was very quiet.

About 4 stops from Trinadade metro station. Costs less than €2 on the metro and then you are in the centre. Lots of bars and restaurants near the hotel. Its deffo a bit further out than i normally go but the local dining is great and short walk to Metro id deffo book again

very pleased.
This Hotel has had the most comfortable bed so far on my trip. I had a room on the front overlooking the Railway Station. I choose this Hotel because of it's closeness to the Station as I arrived and departed by train. Breakfast was included in the tariff. There is no lift in this hotel but the stairs were easy stairs.

Porto stay
Convenient location opposite station, cheap for Porto. Note old building (no elevator). Rooms small but cleaned/aired daily. Quiet despite neighbourhood bars. Safe area & friendly staff.

Very good hotel for the price. Appears to have had a refurbishment quite recently. Room was clean and warm. Bathroom was in very good condition (albeit a little small). Would stay again. Handy location for the metro to city centre, and opposite Campanha railway station where you can get a teain along the very scenic Douro Valley.

This family-run boutique hotel (30 rooms) was a great find for a short trip to Porto. Location is directly across the street from the main train, bus and Metro station. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean hotel. As a single traveller, I felt safe in this location. Breakfast was 6 Euros. Modern bathroom. Great value for money.

Perfect for an early train next day
I picked up this hotel for a night sleep to grab a very early train in the morning, staff is very helpful , everything was very clean. It is not a modern hotel but they did all they could to modernise and give confort to their guests. The price is also very good. I recommend it as it SUPER CLOSE to the train station.

Great location, great service.
Conveniently located for onward travel right by Campanha Railway Station, the Hotel Poveira makes an excellent base for those who plan to explore Northern Portugal and Galicia. The family who run the hotel are lovely people and nothing is too much trouble for them. There are several little bars and restaurants located adjacent to the property so getting a snack, drink or meal is absoutely no problem.

A great stay at the Poveira
Only 5 minutes walk from campinha metro station is hotel Poviera and easy to find. From the moment we were met at reception by the delightful Angelica we knew we would enjoy our stay. The room was clean, tidy, spacious with a good sized flat scree tv on the wall, plenty of storage space and beyond our expectation of a 1 star hotel. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was cleaned along with fresh towels and toiletries provided daily. The hotel is well located with the main train station across the road giving access to portugals rail network and travel between towns and regions, while to the left is the metro station giving full access to all areas of this wonderful city, rail and metro travel within the city is exceptionally cheap and efficient with metro trains every 5 minutes. A selection and decent range of restaraunts and bars are available around the hotel but the best night life is undoubtedly in the city and around the port area, just 3 or 4 stops down the metro line. I would definately recommend this hotel for a short or budget break, the only thing i would change would be a kettle and tea/ coffee making facilities in the room, however the staff were more than happy to let us get one from the breakfast room downstairs. All in all we had a fantastic time at this hotel meeting some wonderful people and will definately be returning.

Convenient Location at a Reasonable Price
It would be difficult to find a more convenient accommodation to Campanhã station than this hotel. We had a late arrival and an early departure and we only had to walk across the street both times. It was about a 30 minute walk into the center of Porto but there were plenty of restaurants and other services nearby. The internet service was inconsistent but let us do the basics. The building was well-worn but clean and the restroom was spotless and especially well maintained.
