Not only the OCA Flores hotel was perfectly located on a pedestrian street (cabs are allowed to drive on these street to drop you off) in the middle of Porto, but the staff was wonderful. They offered tons of valuable advices such as things to do (one of our favorite was to walk all the way to the beach town and take the old cable car back), transportation options (the Sao Bento train station is a 10 minutes walk and allows you to reach the main train station), and dinner options. This hotel was the perfect find. It also had a rooftop garden which i assume would be great for a drink in warmer months. The room we had was great (facing the back so no view but very quiet). The only Con i see was the tub in the bathroom. It was very high and slippery which i can see being an issue for older people.

Fine location along a popular, touristy street, though vehicle access is restricted so navigating pickup points becomes an issue. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Quiet room, pleasant rooftop garden, many restaurants and bars all around.

As a family of 4 we stayed in a suite and it was so convenient and spacious. The front desk was super helpful about providing advice, directions, reservations. The location is fantastic — you can walk everywhere easily and the pedestrian street where the hotel is located is a blast and an attraction in and of itself. Be aware that taxis/cars can not drive up to the property directly so you’ll need to walk a block or 2 with your baggage to reach the front desk.

The location was perfect. Rooms were nice and the price was affordable. Would definitely stay there again. Only had the breakfast on the last day. Better places across the street. Upstairs bar was not so attractive. Better off going out.

Great location/Great Hotel

Our room was great! Very spacious with lots of windows to open. We loved hearing the street musicians play. It had a very comfortable bed and was very clean. The bathroom was small but in very good condition. There was a kitchenette but it was not equipped with soap or towels until the last day. We had the breakfast all 5 days of our stay. The food offered never changed but it was good.

In the midst of a highly trafficked tourist pedestrian esplanade, the hotel was an oasis. Lovely and well appointed rooms. Our suite had a kitchen. The outdoor garden area was a lovely respite from the urban fun right outside the hotel front door. Even a bathing fountain where one can plunge and cool off, preceded and followed by a shower and service from the garden bar. Views of the Se (cathedral) and Clerigos church tower. Sao Bento station (and its tiled grand hall) and many dining options just steps away. Two minute walk to car park (with hotel discount).

Good location in the middle of historic Porto…within walking distance to river and cathedral. Breakfast was decent. The room was nice but we did not receive the room I originally booked. Spa was ok and rules about swim cap are not enforced by staff. Noise from street through windows. Nice garden but be prepared to climb steps.

Great location! Very close to all points of interest, including Sao Bento station, which was great as we were continuing to travel to other locations. Super lively street, with many places to eat, stores, etc. Satff was very friendly and accommodating.
