Perfect location for visiting the port houses with a lovely view of the river. Hotel was quiet and comfortable with friendly staff who were happy to let us keep our room beyond the check out time.

We were extremely pleased to have chosen this hotel which was an easy walk along the river to the centre, lovely view. All staff were very pleasant and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to assist. Rooms were very clean. Continental breakfast had an amazing selection, a relaxing start to the morning overlooking the river. Airport transfer can be arranged through the hotel too. There is a nice roof terrace also to enjoy the views. Definitely recommend and we would not stay anywhere else. Easy to get local bus to top of Porto or taxi. Everyone very helpful and pleasant.

Just what we want it! Hotel room was very spacious, confortable beds, bathroom had everything you need, and a kitchenette. our room had an amazing view of 3 Porto bridges including Don Luis I bridge. within 5 min walk you will have many restaurants options. Uber work fantastic in the area.

The staff were very accommodating. We were given early access to our room and given an extension on leaving. The hotel is right on the river with terrific views and easy access to the city. Will definitely return.

The rooms are beautiful and have views of the water. It is a bit of a walk to any shopping or restaurants but its also more quiet and serene.

Hotel is conveniently located close to the historic district. We liked our room. Breakfast was excellent with a very full selection. In terms of dislikes the room had no USB charging ports so charging phones was an issue.

For breakfast, if not included with room price the folks serving breakfast will not even let you sit to eat unless you sign a note for payment. For a four star hotel it is very poor experience. When we suggested this was not courteous we were reminded of hotel policy. Manager Ines or Duarte (area manager) should change this policy. Offer your guests a seat, let them eat and then ask for payments. For three day stay we did not want room service, but the day after the incident the hotel management forced themselves for doing "cleaning" in the room and a staff member walked away with 59 Euros. Very poor experience. Please be careful when choosing this property.

We had an excellent view of the water. Walking distance to river area and town. Bar and restaurant at the hotel. Very nice shower. Be aware Porto is very hilly.

Nice hotel. Comfortable. Location is good if you are ok with walking - approx 15-20 min to get to main attractions. Breakfast very expensive and not worth it.

This property was built into the walls of the city, right along the Douro River, and is quite unique. Lovely staff and excellent breakfast.

The property is OK and the staff are friendly. The location is close to the river. I needed to walk at least 20mins to the meet up point everyday for the local tours. The location is not too good for me. Also from the review, it said the room can see the bridge. Actually I could not see the bridge unless I went out in the balcony because some petitions have been built up and blocked the view. Also from the booking details, it said the hotel will give one wine per stay but I did not receive anything except a bag of chips.

Very beautiful hotel with great river view and in the most tourist hot spot we had rivers view from our room and it was fantastic the staff and front desk young lady was so welcoming and gave us information for visiting the city and at the end I highly recommended it 💕👌

The hotel is located along the river with great views if you have a room facing the river the room had good spacing but one bad thing was the air conditioner did not good enough to cool the room down it made it very uncomfortable at night

We loved the location of the property with the beautiful views of the Douro River, The Dom Luis 1 Bridge and Gaia. The roof top bar was amazing both day and night for the views. Breakfast had lots of variety and good value. Unfortunately minimum menu during the day as no restaurant onsite.

Even though the hotel is right on Douro river, it’s a little disconnected from the action of Porto. As other reviewers have stated, the Air Condition is poor and is centrally controlled. After long days in the heat, this made a huge difference.

The hotel was in the perfect proximity to the the Cais do Riberia while being just far enough to be a quiet place. The rooftop terrace was lovely with fantastic views. The stay itself was excellent! Clean, comfortable rooms. Highly recommended.

Eurostar is a beautiful property in a convenient location with a wonderful buffet breakfast. Our issue with the hotel is that Your room key is required to remain in the holder at the door in order for anything electrical in the room to operate! That means, everything in the mini fridge is at room temp usually. Most importantly is also means that if you are sightseeing all day and have your only key with you , your room will be very hot and then if you go out for dinner, again taking your key, your room does not have time to cool down and will be very uncomfortable most of the night!!! The AC in our room was awful! Also, pillows were terrible and the in room coffee is instant, which is unheard of almost everywhere! Eurostar, you are a nice hotel and can do better than this!!!! The electric situation spoiled it for us! I will not be able to stay with you again for that reason!

I booked a regular double room but they gave me a mini suite with a room on the fourth floor and a view of the River. I loved it! All of the people working in the hotel were very nice and the housekeeping staff was excellent.
