No elevator, no dining option other than room service with limited menu. Room was clean but dated. Only 5 channels on the tv and none of them any good. Some broken furniture in room. Breakfast buffet was good. People were nice.

Great for Families but food needs revamp

The rooms are fairly comfortable suited for families. The breakfast was not consistent, great one day and average on other days. Wi-Fi was only available in the lounge, Restaurant & bar and not in the rooms which is not acceptable! The staff are very friendly, courteous and good with children.

Great place to relax

We had an excellent relaxing stay at Umthunzi. Room is spacious and well serviced. The staff go out of their way to assist any requests- especially Esme Jones who assisted on a particular request. Swimming pool was also very well maintained. Beach is a short walk away as well as very close to retaurants and shopping centers. It was an excellent week away and very highly recommended.
