Poroy provides a quieter, more rural view of Peru. A must next to big city commutes out of Cusco or Lima. Get to Poroy the night ahead of your train to Machu Picchu for an easier morning departure.

Great location in centre of Cusco near all the sites. Lovely hotel, great staff. Only 2 issues were breakfast was very limited, so I went out to eat at one of the excellent local breakfast restaurants nearby each day. Wonderful staff, beautiful room with crisp linens. Big plus for me was the bathtub 🛁, I had a fabulous soak.

Only slept then took a train out. Great location near the train and San Pedro Market. Had a kitchen/living room. Would be a great place if spending more time in Cusco.

It was a beautiful place, lovely to relax in, service was excellent, love the gardeners, love the llamas (or alpacas - unclear), lovely jacuzzi.
