Old hotel that has absolutely seen better days. It smells like it needs a really good cleaning. The smell is like old grease/fat from the kitchen. I can not recommend this place. The only + is the size of the rooms and the mountain view.

Nice mountain retreat - not for a single night

The hotel is great for a mountain trip. I was looking for a single night near the town close to the highway, and it is not close to it. It it’s a step and long drive from the town. So make sure you check this before you book! Other that that, the breakfast was great (included) and the views are awesome. The staff is really friendly and helpful.

Great Property!

Challenging and somewhat scary drive to the top of the mountain, but this location was a fine reward after the climb. Room was spacious and comfortable, the staff was super helpful and spoke many languages to include, English, Italian, German, and Sloven. Lake View was nice. Great place for clean alpine air and hiking. The bar on the first floor was welcoming and cheerful. The breakfast was extensive and suited many tastes.

Nice Italian hotel at Austrian Ski Resort

The family spent 5 days skiing at the very close (300m) ski resort of Nassfeld while at this hotel. The staff is pleasant, the food in the restaurant (served 11-8pm) is very fresh and delicious. It is a good value for a family ski holiday. The rooms were not luxurious, but adequate and the view of the surrounding mountains inspiring. There are improvements that could make this a much better hotel. The lobby could be updated and more user friendly - it was dark, and not inviting. The spa could use a little TLC, it was a bit depressing, and the hot tub was only luke warm. Finally, the breakfast which is included, should have some variation, it was the same all five days, and the hot foods were not very appetizing.

Väldigt nöjd

Hotellet låg 300 m från liften, promenaden till liften var inte alls så besvärande som man kan tro. God service från personalen. Tavernan i källaren har öppet hela natten för den törstige. När vi var där var det mest familjer och par som bodde på hotellet. Inga kompisgäng. Jag skulle rekommendera skidhyra i Nassfeld.

Nahe am Lift und gutes Essen, sehr freundlich

Preis Leistung im Restaurant sehr gut, Spitzenkaffe, sehr familiär und freundlich. Generell sehr spartanische Zimmereinrichtung und allgemein renovierungsbedürftig (ausser der Speisesaal). Preis allerdings OK durch Nähe zum Skigebiet. Italienischer Charme. Allerdings nichts für Perfektionisten... War ein schöner Urlaub.
