「The staff were very friendly and informative, food was great, their own produce was great and the views were amazing. I would love to return in warmer weather when the pool is open. The only downside was being charged €50 cleaning fee. I missed it in the small print when booking. This wasn't a fine for leaving the rooms untidy, this is their standard charge for their 1 bed apartments. We stayed there 1 night and still had the same charge as someone who stays for a week. 「This is an extraordinary place to stay. Utterly beautiful views at all times, in all directions. The walk through vineyards and olive groves into Vinci is a pleasure, and the little town is a lovely example of Tuscany, with added interest of Leonardo. Easy to reach Pisa, Siena, Florence, San Gimingnano and the Ligurian coastal towns by car from here. Surrounding countryside and villages just stunning, especially along the Montebalno ridge.
